Beautiful story. Well written. William and Susanna had a lot of obstacles in their path before they could achieve happiness. But they did have a happy life in the end. Thank you Ann Marie for sharing your story. Can’t wait to read the next book.

This was a cute story. It had drama. It had comedy. It had lots of love. I enjoyed ite very much.

Although I enjoyed story, there just seemed to be something missing for me. The plot was good and kept my attention,and major characters were developed, but it just felt scattered and unfinished.

Excellent book! Well written and full of excitement. Susana has just lost her parents and now her uncle has found her a husband. Will has vowed never to live again but, will remarry for Susanna's dowery. Neither knew the attraction between them would be so strong. There are men stealing the livestock and causing damage to the castle walls. There is a spy inside the castle, Will is shot with an arrow, Susanna is kidnapped. Can Will and his guards save her in time and find their spy? You will have to read Me Scott's latest book to find out. Enjoy!!

Good summer reading, just too short of story. I liked the characters and was entertained, just wished for more of the story.

Susanna and Will are such moving characters from very diverse backgrounds. Anna Marie Scott wrote a beautiful story line with so many twists, turns, lies, and surprises to keep you turning the pages.

Its was a package of all thing good. It had a good story line with a twist and slow yet graphic build up of a good relationship. Just loved it totally.

I always find this author a little hit and miss for more liking. However, overall, I enjoyed this story. the blurb grabbed my attention and overall, it had all the ingredients for an interesting story. One of the better ones i thought

This has been an enjoyable read. I would have liked more of he feel for scotland. This story itself could have been set anywhere.
