Backed by clinical trials, it has done wonders for my dog with lung cancer.
Don't just take the word of the reviewers here: do a Google search for "Avemar clinical trials" or "Avemar clinical studies". Long story short, you'll find scholarly articles about scientific studies done by different groups on different types of cancer in Europe and here in the US and they find that it works. It's not a miracle cure, but it has been shown to help cancer patients - humans and dogs.I found out about this product after doing some research after my dog was diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer. We took her to the vet as soon as symptoms were showing and we could tell she was sick. Her energy levels had dropped dramatically, which we chalked up to old age (11) but then she also started coughing. X-Rays showed several small tumors in her lungs. Due to her age and the presence of the tumors, surgery was deemed too risky and chemo therapy wasn't really recommend either. The vet said we'd be spending thousands of dollars to put her through the discomfort of chemo, and extend her life for not much time at all.So basically, there was nothing we could do but make her as comfortable and happy as we could for the time she had left, estimated at one month. That was more than two months ago. I found Avemar and started giving it to her shortly after her diagnosis. Two weeks after she was diagnosed she was in better shape than before the diagnosis. She still gets tired and walks slow, but she's faster than she was before. She used to cough a lot, mostly after waking up in the morning and from naps. The cough started to get better slowly, and now it's completely gone.I'd recommend this product to anyone with a dog who was diagnosed with cancer.

Our experience with AveUltra
My daughter was diagnosed with the most aggressive type of breast cancer last November. She started chemo several weeks later, which drained her strength and dimmed her spirits. I began researching our options, and came across this product. I read the clinical studies, and the reviews by people who used it for their relatives, and their dogs. After checking with the doctors to see if it would conflict with the chemo, I ordered a box and she began taking it daily. Within the first week she was feeling better. Over the months of chemo treatments with many other patients in the same room, she noticed that her experience with chemo was significantly better than other patients. The doctors told her that the cancer was shrinking much faster than they normally see, and by the end of her course, it was completely gone. She still had a double masectomy as a precaution, but the surgeon and pathology reports stated they found no further sign of cancer. Of course, I have no way of knowing whether AveUltra contributed to her success, but her immune system stayed strong throughout the treatment, which allowed the doctors to use the maximum dose of chemo treatment. I have no proof, but I firmly believe this product contributed to her strength and positive attitude during the chemo treatments. Before each chemo treatment they measured her immune system to decide whether she could tolerate the chemo that week... each time she passed the test. She has discontinued use now because of the taste, her surgery is over, and because she feels so much better, but as a 65 year old with a double-bypass in my history, I thought I would take the remaining product over the next 2 months to see if it will boost my immune system or have other benefits. Only time will tell. Oh yes, the taste is awful, and it clumps in liquid, but I consider it a miracle supplement and certainly worth a little bad taste. I mix it with apple juice now and it is tolerable. There are lots of clinical trials, reviews, and discussions on the internet about this product and if you have a family member in this situation, I recommend that you read them and decide for yourself if this is the right product for them.

Ave' Ultra to the rescue
My 11 year old Corgi was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer on the 28th of December 2016. The vet had no treatment options and suggested tramadol to keep her comfortable. After doing some research I ran across Avemar aka Ave' Ultra and read as many of the research papers I could find. Feeling I had nothing to loose I purchased Ave' Ultra and started administering it to the corgi 3 days after its diagnosis of cancer. Three days after starting the Ave' Ultra I was able to remove all pain killers from the corgi's treatment regiment and by the end of the first week I could see noticeable improvements in the dogs symptoms. Fast forward to February 25 2017 when we had the corgi x-rayed a second time to see what the tumor looked like. Amazingly the tumor had decreased along the long axis by 20% and the tumor density had diminished by over 50%. In short the tumor is dying and the corgi is getting stronger. The vet claims to have never seen such a recovery. I am certain that had it not been for the Ave' Ultra I would have been forced to put my beloved corgi down by the middle of January. As it is she has received a second chance and naturally we are all very happy. I cannot sing the praises of this product enough. Now having said all that it is important to remember that each case is unique and my success may not be matched but if used properly as per the information in the research papers it doesn't appear to cause any major health issues and could still be used to improve life.As many have stated taste is an issue and it was true for the corgi as well. We managed to blend it in plain Greek yogurt which she ate without much issue. At times we were forced to mix it with cold water and using a syringe squirt the mixture into her mouth. Of the two methods I recommend the yogurt provided the "patient" will eat said product.Included is a picture of the "patient". Being 27 pounds in weight I was able to split a packet of the product into thirds, each third being a dose for a day. This made the 30 packet carton a 3 month supply. Naturally a larger dog would require a larger dose.
