Do u have take tire off to put a stem in

The tire and rim can stay on the cycle, but you will need to unseat at least 1 tire bead from the rim. Amazon also sells tools to do this. All you have to do then is remove the old valve stem and insert the new one from the inside of the rim and pull it up to seat it.
