Q: Confused by sizing, what size for a 40" waist please?

I would think the extra large. I am waste 38-40 and the large fit me just.

Hiya mate, i like your question.. I've used Sloggis for years and they last ages as well. To answer your question they are very firm in the tackle area and comfy. With regards to thigh rubbing it depends which style you buy, if you buy the boxer type then you'll be ok.

Yes I do find them supportive and comfortable. I have been searching round for pants since I can no longer get Kelvin Klein ones of similar design. These sloggi pants provide the same support.

Q: What does the front of the waistband measure please in large/xl?
