Quality set to install replacement battery
The GR code allowed a step by step video to assist install. I would however point out that the kit supplied did NOT include a tri-point screwdriver that is DEFO required to remove the screen and home button shield. Without this you are in trouble. I managed to remove the screws (all of of the screws you need to take out have had Loctite applied making them quite hard to remove) only by identifying with a powerful eyeglass that they need tripoint tip screwdriver.Also the IP 67 gasket has to be applied with HUGE care if you are to secure a full 100% seal. The cell itself, which is what it is all about is good. There are cheaper offerings, but this cell capacity and kit is good quality.

Easy to fit, just what was needed
My iPhone 7 battery was about done, down to 60% capacity and only lasting a few hours. I checked various sellers and settled on this almost at random - though attracted by the extra capacity. It arrived promptly, professional looking pack. Battery looked good. Instructions were easy to follow, tools did the job well. 10 mins and I powered back on, no problems. Been 2 days now, phone works perfectly and still has 75% charge from 2 days ago. A very happy customer.

Defective gasket
This kit looks great at first, nicely packaged and ready for work. But, when I came to fit the gasket, found it missing an entire side as can clearly be seen in the photo so it cannot be used. No problem I thought, I'll let the seller know and they'll send me out a non-defective replacement. No dice unfortunately, they argued with me and told me they couldn't see the clearly missing section at all, made me feel like was taking crazy pills. They did say I could return the whole kit for a refund, but I really don't want to do this as I'm in the process of fitting the battery which seems good so far - and I shouldn't have to start over again, order another (different) product, wait for delivery etc for the sake of one defective part. I work in high level customer service and this is not how it's done. At all.

No way is this 2600mAh
Bought this to replace my genuine Apple 1960mAh battery as it was getting tired. Followed the charging instructions by discharging til completely flat then charging til 100% three times. Phone doesn’t last any longer then it did before and that basing it on a old used battery!I only bought it based on the high capacity, had I’d known I would have just bought a new genuine battery! Bloody scam!

Battery not holding a charge.
Not recommendI purchased this battery on end of September. And never holds a charge long enough.Now even if I charge battery to 100% and put away my old iPhone 7 turned off (because I use a new phone now), the battery is completely flat after 2 days untouched in the drawer. iPhone 7 even not starting up. Needs to be charged a few minutes before come back to live.Not good product at all.

Would not charge but replacement fine
A good kit with all the tools you need. However, I was sent a defective battery that would not receive a charge. This was a right PITA because of the time and effort it had taken to dismantle the phone, install the battery and adhesives and then seal it all up. I ordered a replacement battery which then worked fine. Customer service has been very good and in light of the replacement sent I am happy to give five stars.

Seems to hold charge OK so far.
This battery is a good option if your iPhone 7 is starting to play up and not holding charge. Fairly straight forward process with tools etc included. Just Google iFixit for a good video to follow. Had a couple of times when played up charging, but this may be due to a dodgy charging cable. Will amend rating if this changes as only fitted a couple of weeks ago.

Caution
Followed the utube video and fitted the replacement battery. Straight forward. All seemed to go well. When switching the phone on, the Apple symbol comes on as normal, but instead of powering up, turns off then continues to cycle not getting past the Apple symbol. Successfully reloaded software and firmware from Apple itunes, but still no good. Have ordered new phone from Apple. Accept there is an element of risk carrying out this type of repair.
