Will this work with day better brand led lights?

Hi there, this remote is compatible with 4 pin RGB light strip.

If you cut the power, will it come back on and keep the setting it was on. I want to set it and put on a timer.

This driver didn't work for me so I went to Lowes and got one that Sylvania makes, they look almost identical... I just tried it on that one and yes, it held the same color even after disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply
