Kalimba goes Classical: Melodies of the Great Masters for kalimba in C

This book is easy to read and follow for playing the kalimba. I played Mozart. Yay! Not sure how it sounded. But the Bridal Chorus March for kalimba was spot on. Yay! Not so much with Debussy... too bad because Claire De Lune is why I bought this book. That's OK because the author's large print kalimba notations and tabs mean there's no eye strain. The author's tabs are the best I've seen so far and better than most on YouTube. This book is great practice. And if your music classes were in previous century, there a reminder course here. I will be buying the author's other kalimba books.

This is a great music book! It teaches you notes, musical words and phrases, it has sheet music to read and learn for beginners who don't know the first thing about sheet music. This breaks it down to the smallest things you would need to know. I would highly recommend.

I really like the assortment of songs. They were well chosen to suit kalimba. Good range of simple to intermediate skill level. I love that the book uses traditional sheet music and a "tab" notation. I recommend this music book. It works well with desk bell sets and tone chimes also.

Bought as many books of the Kalimba I could so my granddaughter and I could play together instead of sharing book we have our own. Can't wait to play

This book has a variety of popular classic songs in an easy to understand notation method that can be applied right away with a 17 note Kalimba.

Book is as described! I like that the notes have the corresponding Kalimba number under them to make it easier to use for beginners.

Il libro mi piace perché tutti i brani sono scritti sul pentagramma e sono scritti con la numerazione delle note, così da poter essere letto da chi conosce e da chi non conosce la musica.

I am a musician with a degree in music and play 5 instruments. I had seen the Kalimba but never bought one! I bought one for me and my husband, who only plays the radio!! He went crazy for it. I found it a tad challenging. I then ordered one for my daughter, her husband, my brother and his wife so that we could have a family band at the campground - it was GREAT!! Many of my family are musicians, but anyone, even without musical training can learn this easily and will get a lot of enjoyment out of it. Our parrot loves to hear it - almost puts him into hypnosis it is so beautiful!! Great thing for a child over the age of 9 - 10, I say that as a teacher of music to kids!! Buy the book too.
