Strong, sturdy and looks great!
I bought this for my sons, ever expanding vinyl collection and it's just perfect! I'm not to good with flat packed furniture but this was easy to build, it's very sturdy and great value for money! So far, we've got around 30 vinyl lp's in one section and there's plenty of room for another 50 or so! This unit looks so stylish in my sons room, the woodgrain effect covers the whole unit, back and front so it can be placed anywhere in the room, it's small enough to fit into the smallest place. With a large storage capacity, this unit has really fulfilled our expectations!

Very well made, easy to assemble, slim-line record storage unit.
This record unit is made from a very strong and sturdy mdf - not laminated chip board (which you usually get at this very affordable price). The fixings are metal which are easy to install and very strong. When the unit is built - which takes about 20 - 30 mins - it is completely solid, sturdy and quite heavy. There is no way the shelves will ever buckle or bow under the weight of your records. The description says the unit will hold up to 330 albums. I suppose if all of the albums are in simple sleeves, this would be possible. I filled mine up with a mixture of albums in simple sleeves, gatefold sleeves, box sets, double albums etc and got in a total of 214 albums. However, I have packed them quite loosely (to avoid ring-wear). The slim-line design is very convenient for me. I wanted to place the unit between the wall and a desk. There wasn't a millimetre to spare, so I am very glad that the measurements of the unit were completely accurate! I would highly recommend this storage unit. It is of excellent quality and is surprisingly cheap for what you get.

Great solid cabinet - sadly let down by penny pinching on the tools and the instructions
If you take your time, making sure you can lay everything out just were you are gonna need it. the assembly is extreemly easy to do, if you have some basic knowledge with wood working. shame the instructions are not upto the standard of the Vinyl Record storage unit!. so we just layed it down on the living room floor with the rest - looked at it and discussed it and got the cabinet assembled withing an hour or so. As in a tempory postition at the m,oment, we didnt use any glue and to be honest the unit is already rock solid. The tools are a real pain to use?, but I have our own half decent woodworking tools and used them instead. If possible swap some cloth around the alan keys ( to stop them digging into your skin.) of if you have your own larger set I recommend you use them. the reason for only 4 stars ???? better tools and instructions and it would of have all 5 stars. but still a good solid investment.

Does a good, solid job and looks good. Recommended!
Solidly built - better then many flat pack furniture. I still find screwing the metal pegs in to the round slots always a pain - blisters on hands and they can so easily go wrong BUT, to be fair, this version was better than most as the material is stronger than say Ikea stuff. Once built though, they look good, hold a lot more records than I first thought when I saw them and provide a good, safe way of looking after your precious vinyl whilst keeping it tidy and in one spot! Recommended!!

Ideal for LP storage. Easy to build.
This storage cabinet accepted 200 LPs. perfectly. My previous cabinet for LPs had broken away after about years. Assembly simple and straightforward. Only tools required were a large cross head and a smaller screwdriver. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. I chose oak to match a coffee table. a little heavy to lift but not difficult to pair with one I had already assembled. I've safely stored all 400 of my LPs. Excellent value for money.
