I used this to fill a top crack in my Martin DRS2. Scraped off the excess with a razor blade and lightly sanded going through various finer grits. I finished it off with plastic polish. No complaints.

Best finish product i have ever used! Clear, self leveled and worked beautifullywith any finish I used it with. Amazing product! And in fact it turned out to be very economical as it took much less product than other products I've used for all of my jobs.

I have used several bottles of GluBoost. They are my favored finishing glue for my wood pen. Recommend.

Excellent product. I use together. First: Fill-In application dribbled over slow moving pen blank. Repeat. Then second product (Thin coat), traditionally applied with paper towel, and repeated.

OK, right up front, I did not purchase this from Amazon. I bought it from the manufacturer (I give Amazon quite enough money anyway). I like to review things on Amazon because this is where most people go for reviews. I don't have a spray booth (or a CNC machine or a jointer/planer or a thickness sander...) nor am I going to get one anytime soon. I have been finishing my guitars with Tru-Oil plus wipe-on poly or, recently, just Tru-Oil. To do a Tru-Oil finish you just have to wipe on one coast about every three hours, do three coats in a day, wait until the next morning, sand the nibs out of the finish, wipe on three more coats, wash, rinse, repeat for seven days. When it's finally done you need to wait three to four weeks for it to cure out before you final sand and polish. These pictures are of my latest Tele style build (basswood, padauk, spalted quilted maple, roasted flame maple neck, rosewood fingerboard). I finished the neck in about three hours - from start to final sanded and polished. I put on one coat of regular Fill and Finish, waited about ten minutes, put on a second coat of regular, waited another ten minutes, then put on three coats of thin Fill and Finish, waiting about five minutes between coats. When that was done I waited about thirty minutes then I sanded it from 600 thru 1200 with sanding pads, from 1500 to 3000 with Super Buflex (wet sanding would have worked just as well), then 4000 to 12000 with Micro-Mesh pads (the little bitty ones). After that I just hand polished it out with Meguiar's Ultimate Polish and waxed it with Renaissance Wax (any decent wax would do though). Total time - three hours. The body took a couple of days to completely finish. I put a first coat of thin Fill and Finish on the top because it is spalted maple so I wanted to solidify the weak wood. After that I just did the same as the neck - two regular, three thin. I was concerned before I started using Fill and Finish that it wouldn't bring out the chatoyance as well as Tru-Oil so I did a couple of test pieces. Fill and Finish pops the cat's eye just as well as Tru-Oil. In addition, it doesn't add that amber cast that Tru-Oil does. As an added extra attraction, I've played this guitar outside in really high humidity and the back of the neck doesn't drag as much as Tru-Oil, or poly, or lacquer does. One thing to keep in mind when using Fill and Finish (or any other cyanoacrylate glue) - wear goggles (the fumes burn your eyes), keep the area ventilated (I had a couple of fans going), and an N95 mask or respirator wouldn't hurt. In conclusion, I will never use any other finish on a guitar again. This stuff is awesome. Oh, on many websites I've seen it said that you can finish two guitars with one bottle of regular and one of thin. I used most of both bottles doing the neck and body. They may be just talking about the body though.

I used the blue label Fill n Finish often for pore filling, but when using particular less porous woods, and filling small cracks, this stuff is perfect. With GluDry this dries in what feels like milliseconds. Easy to use and apply, functions perfectly, and the value is worth it.
