Complete Dehydrator Cookbook: How to Dehydrate Fruit, Vegetables, Meat & More

Fairly complete guide to start dehydrating. Well explained instructions and good pictures. The recipes are very nice to have and well written. As a dehydration novis this book helped me get started.

My ex bought a food dehydrator on a whim and burned through $200 in meat trying to make jerky. Purchased this book to help him, it didn’t work, not because there’s bad recipes or information in this book, but because he thinks he can do whatever he wants and he doesn’t listen or follow directions. My only complaint is I didn’t stick around to try to make fruit leather because that sounded intriguing.

Have used this cookbook a few times and I love all the details it gives you. Easy to follow. The fruit recipes turned out really good.

This book is like the bible of dehydrating! It really is "complete". A must have if you garden too. Lots of recipes in the back too!

I used my dehydrator for the first time a couple of weeks ago for dehydrating fruit for Fall decorating. The apples were so good I chose to make a cream cheese dip and eat them. Not as impressed with the citrus for eating but they make great decorating additions. Starting more today to add to Christmas decorations. The cookbook is so helpful on how to use the dehydrator and prepare several useful recipes.
