Good Value, but really too thin for use on Rebar Structures
Plastic coating stops corrosion, but metal wire core is too thin for use on Rebar, you have to double up each tie to get enough grip. 1.4mm thickness is only after plastic coating is added.Perfectly good for use as bag ties.

Super Duper
When I saw these up for review I was delighted as I have so many garden based projects that I just knew these would be handy for. So as soon as they arrived (they arrive in such a big roll and quite weighty) I had a full list of where I was going to use them. So first off we used them as suggested to tie bags of garden and soil waste after levelling our back garden. We live in a rented house and this house has no patio but as it cannot be permanent, we have looked for alternatives. We instead decided to make some decking out of pallets and these have been excellent in tying them together. The reason for tying over drilling is that when winter comes we can take them all up and store to put out next year and give the chance for the garden to breath. It might seem a lot of effort but we get really bad gusts of gale force wind here in the winter any I worry it will take off else as we are not allowed to dig too deep in the garden. I have also used them to help secure some camera's to our house as we cannot drill into the brick. The fact that they are coated means they will be excellent in all weather conditions. I have also used 3 to loosely tie my hose together to hand until I buy a reel and to stop the birds flying off with the bird feeders and dropping them over the fence. They were easy to thread through the chain and double loop around an additional loop hook I have ( we get lots of big birds in our garden). The list is endless and I didn't think a coated strip of wire would have any use at all. Well worth the money.
