Gamehide Upland Front Loading Bird Hunting Vest

I've only worn it once so far but am pleased with the quality. It's made of sturdy but comfortable canvas, and everything seems well constructed. Some things I like: a good amount of blaze orange on the upper shoulder region, the tab on the zipper doesn't make noise, the game storage part is lined with blood resistant material, it should hold up to briars, and is comfortable. I ordered a medium rather than a large, based on the sizing description and am glad I did. I'm 6'3" 185lbs and the medium fits well over a hoodie or light to midweight jacket. Can't wait to fill it with rabbits and squirrels!

Great vest very durable and warm which is good and bad depending on when your hunting. Definitely worth it highly recommend for squirrel and rabbit winter hunting... might be too warm during dove season

Usually wear a XXL t-shirt. Ordered this vest in XXL and it will fit over a quad columbia huning coat which is very bulky. This vest would swallow me if worn without the heavy hunting coat. It does appear well made and large pockets for shells, and game bag in back has large accessible openings being easily reached without doing contortions. Only thing I would like to see would be shell loops in the pockets to hold loose shells.

This is a good vest but runs quite large. I ordered a large and it was more like an extra large.

After an extensive search for an upland vest, I found this one. The quality is excellent and it is an incredible value. This is most obvious when cross shopping other brands.

This is a super high quality vest. No doubt it will probably last me 10+ years and take a lot of abuse. Normally I wear a large or sometimes extra large shirt, I ordered this in large and it is quite large on me. Definitely runs very large, not a big deal but if you are in between sizes size down for sure.

Good winter heavy duty upland hunting vest. Has plant of doom to ware a heavy sweatshirt under. I recommend this vest

Like the fit the heavy duty fabric has a nice sized game bag. Cons. Does not have shell loops but that’s not a big deal.

Well made, I brought an XXL and it is certainly the right size. I can wear my coat underneath and it fits. I'm very pleased with the quality and size of pockets, rear game bag. I wore it yesterday on a hunt and it was comfortable. I did spray with some waterproofing prior to going out.

I'm at my 4th hunting season with it. Still all fine no tear and I use it a lot. Only downside is it's not the legal amount of orange for Quebec hunting and it's made very big.

Great quality for the price. I would have given it 5 stars if the back game pocket came apart so I could more easily clean the feathers out. If you're planning to wear a relatively thick jacket or multiple layers under it, order your normal size... however if you're planning to use it in warmer weather without a heavy jacket, order on the smaller side of what you think. For example, I'm 5'10" and 220lbs with wide shoulders, I ordered extra large, and it's big... easily fits over a heavy winter coat. I probably should have gone with Large. Also would have been nice if it had some chest zip pockets but it doesn't.
