Malfunctioned after 10 months / Resolved fast by manufacturer!
Worked fine when first purchased. Quick and easy to analyze mix. Used on two dive trips then put away for 6 months with batteries removed. Then it would not calibrate to 20.9% . Used new batteries still not working properly. I think the sensor may have died.Contacted manufacturer through their website e mail. Sarah got back to me within one day with a recommendation to fix issue. When that didn't work she immediately arranged for a replacement unit, which I received within a week. A good product but even better : Great customer service!!

Resolution versus accuracy versus error
I am not an expert but I use Nitrox. The unit has a resolution of .01, but a stated accuracy of <2% FS. Technically a FS full scale accuracy of 2% means plus or minus 2% or a 4% swing. For measuring Nitrox to prevent oxygen toxicity for scuba diving this seems to be risky.

Useful but don’t use their batteries
Very useful to confirm your tanks, especially if they regularly on boat. I used batteries that came with it & they died before first use. I thought machine died but thankfully was just the batteries.

Accurate reading and good range
Accurate and easy to use. Was testing an extreme Live O2 oxygen maker that varies from 10-85% oxygen percentage levels. This worked perfect to test and results as expected confirming my generator functioning correctly.

Seems to work well
Ok so here's the deal: I am on o2 therapy. Wanted to actually test the large concentrators vs the tanks vs the travel ones I have decided to purchase because let's be honest even pacing through my insurance to rent theirs stiff is a scam where the sales guy is literally making a living off me renting them each month. Everyone needs a job but I don't consider myself an employer. Just my personal 411. So this handy little device seems to be pretty accurate when I measure my sats while using it. I have way more I could write but i will wait to see if anyone Actually wants me to go into detail here before I literally fill a page with useful(less to some) info and stats. So in order not to waste anyone's time,, I will be happy to update when I see a notification that this review is marked as helpful. If not, ill save my useless(full to some) info for elsewhere.

Great product.
Great product and great company. Their ability to produce highly accurate gas detectors for affordable prices has helped my clients multiple times. They also offer a calibration service for most of their products (if not all. I assume they will do any of them.)

Price is good.......but it has to work properly if your life is on the line.
I so wanted this meter to work since it is fairly inexpensive and comes with a nice case but I think the sensor was bad and I can't trust it. I received the meter and the batteries were dead as many of the other reviews have noted. I can't believe they haven't fixed this simple flaw yet! I put 3 fresh AAA batteries in and turned it on and calibrated as directed. The reading was 21.4% before I calibrated and 21.4% after I calibrated (should be closer to 20.9%). I had a feeling there was something wrong with the meter. I contacted Forensics technical support via email and got no response after 4 days. Fortunately I took it over to a local dive shop and tried it on a tank of nitrox with a known oxygen content of 32%. Put the meter on and waited about 20-25 seconds before the read out moved. It went up to about 26% but no further. The shop worker's meter only took about 5 seconds to register ~ 32%. I sent it back and purchased a different brand before I went diving.
