picky buyer (i do a lot of research), and I keep coming back to Southpole sweats (own 8 of them now)
UPDATED (update below): As an athlete, I have a bought a lot of sweatpants in my life. Buying in person at a store is okay, but they never have enough kinds to choose from. So like everyone, I go online. But buying online has its own set of problems and can be hit or miss. Anyway, I've had good luck with this Southpole brand though. Bought 4 more pairs of them about 2 months ago. I wanted to use them awhile before I did my review. This time round, I did a bunch of research but still came back to Southpole in the end. They are as good as others and the price is always the cheapest out of all the ones I look at. I got the ones with cargo pockets this time. As always, I bought them bigger because sweatpants always shrink. These did not shrink quite as much as my past Southpole sweatpants, but still shrunk down to fit pretty good. I'm wearing a pair now. Super comfy. I wear them every day. Anyway, I know they'll shrink more, the more I use them/wash them. Things I don't like about these latest ones. The drawstrings on these cargo sweats are not as beefy as my past Southpole sweats. Also the drawstrings on these are about 6 inches shorter. Not happy about that. Then again, I only use the drawstrings occasionally, so not a big deal for me. But might be a deal breaker for some of you. Btw, the draw stings suck on all 4 pair I bought so I know it's not just a fluke. Southpole is getting more cheapskate I guess. Other than that, I love their sweats. I'm hoping these new ones last as long as my other 4 Southpole from several years ago. Which are still going strong after 3.5yrs of heavy use. I wear sweats everyday instead of jeans. Glad to have these new ones. I of course just demoted my old sweats to being worn only when I do yardwork, house remodeling stuff, classic car restoration (which I do nearly every day), etc. dirty jobs. UPDATE: i'm two more months down the road and i'm still lovin' these sweats. and they have now shrunk down a tiny bit more and have become nearly a perfect fit. i should probably do what people used to do with their jeans and pull them straight out of the washing machine and wear them outside in the hot sun until they shrink-dry completely onto your body to form a perfect fit (and a perfect fit forever after). lol anyway, i'm gonna bump these up from my original 4 stars to 5 since i'm totally lovin' them. love them even more than the old 'non-cargo-pocket' ones i bought and wore forever (and am still wearing). oh yeah, and again, i happen to be wearing these review sweats as i type this. not an amazing occurrence or anything since i wear these cargo pocket ones all the time now. UPDATE 9-28-23: My review above is for the fleece sweat pants only... just saw that the seller is now listing a Tech-Woven Nylon variety too. Dude, just start a different listing for those... why do sellers have to put so many varieties into a single listing?! Anyway, still loving my fleece sweatpants. They are holding up amazingly. I've stopped wearing jeans pretty much, just living large in my cargo sweats 24/7. That's no joke. They're my main pants in the day now, and my friggin PJ's at night too. Just one benefit of being old, and married... no one to have to impress anymore. My dress code is just all about me and my comfort now. lol By the way, watch those big phones in those cargo pockets. I have a really sturdy phone case, otherwise I would have ruin my phone by bumping it on stuff when it's in my big cargo pockets. At least the cargo pockets are big and can fit the latest big phones.

Finally it fits my tall boys!
My twin boys are young but very tall - one is 6'2 and one is 6'3 at 15 years old so needless to say I've been having a rough time finding joggers long enough. They are not overly long but just right so next year if they continue at this rate i'll need a different pair, but they are just right for now! The 6'2 boy is 34/36 waist size and I got him the XL so this could probably last him for next year since he has an extra inch to catch up and his had more space down below. The 6'3 boy is skinny and is a size 33 waist and I got him the large which helped that it was loose on his waist bc it dragged down longer that way. I suspect next year won't fit him unless he can graduate to the XL size. Needless to say at this price point i can afford multiple of these in different colors to get them through as long as they can last! So go for it!!

Well made, but HOT
Great look, fit perfectly, but I wouldn't work out in these unless you run very cold. They are WARM and keep your legs well insulated. Might be good for jogging outside in the fall or mild winter days, but not for indoor exercise. That said, they look awesome and are extremely comfortable. Some of my new favorite sweatpants.

Perfect winter cargo pocket sweats for running to the store
I’m a well rounded women but I need cargo pockets for many occasions. These are perfect for working down at the homeless shelter. Or running for a walk. Or an all day shopping event at the mall and pocketbooks too heavy to lug around. Wash separately as fuzzies will attach everywhere. They do wear down a bit in the upper inner thighs. Fuzz shaver needed. Bought navy and black. They will last for a few years. They are very warm.

Buying more !
Followed amazons advice and ordered a size bigger. Perfect fit and the fleece is very thick quality material

Not True! Pls make XXXL!
Bought these as a gift for my boyfriend. Matter of fact I bought XL first then saw the waist when delivered and gave to my son who has a 32 in waist. The XXL is too small as well. Would love a XXXL in the exact!

Good Fit, good material, good purchase
I purchased the south-pole fleece cargo shorts a while back and they have served me very well. I was hoping when I got the fleece jogger, I would be met with a similar experience. So far it has.The fit was as expected, as is the construction and feel of the materials in the jogger. I am in the gym 6 days a week and I also do some martial arts in the evenings so the pants get a real workout. I am hoping that unlike my other joggers this one won't pill up. The elastic band is very good and I like the thick shoestring they used to cinch things up too.I bought a large, I have a 30 inch inseam and 36 waist. Good fit overall.UPDATE OCT 2016: Loved these so much I bought a 2nd pair. This time in Gray. The blacks are holding up well, with a little pilling. I am going to get a pill trimmer and see if I can clean it up a bit. Still the materials and seams are holding nice. Elastics and strings, are still goign strong.

Short inseam but nice
These pants are very comfortable. The inside is a soft fleece type fabric. They are really warm when you are indoors, but also well ventilated when you get moving because air easily travels through them. The cargo pockets Velcro shut and seem pretty secure. The waistband ties with a drawstring and also has elastic. The waist is very secure once tied. You don't have to worry about your butt falling out if your squat down. These pants seem to be on the small side - I ordered a medium and they fit me very well. I'm a 5'5" lady and the inseam fits me well, so these pants might fit a tall man around the calves. These pants do pill up easily. I've noticed the fabric pilling in just 2 days of use. It's not just in high friction areas, it's even in areas that don't get a lot of contact.

Quality, But buy one size bigger than you need.
The quality of the craftmanship and material are second to none. I can not believe I only paid $20.00 for these pants. After receiving the first pair, I ordered three more pair. Just be sure you order one size bigger than you need and for the first time you wash, Wash in cold water and use delicate setting on your dryer.

Buen Material, pero...
Últimamente han reducido mucho las dimensiones. Los primeros que compre si cumplían con el tamaño de la talla, pero los últimos están más pequeños.
