LurroseRazor Head Replacement Manual Double Edge Razor Safety Shaving Head without Blade

I've been trying my hand at butterfly razors lately, and have discovered that my thick, inconsistently grained beard is best handled by an aggressive razor. A fair number of the off-brand butterfly razors I have are neutral or gentle, and I noticed that all of my butterfly razors use the same screw threaded block system to secure the head to the handle. I'd also read that open comb designs tend to be more aggressive. So, I ordered this and another comb.This assembly will fit any butterfly razor whose head screws on to the handle. I don't think this will work on butterfly razors that use raising doors on the top to replace blades, but I could be wrong; I've never used such a razor so I can definitively state if they will or not.Moving on, while this assembly is an improvement over the neutral head that it replaced, this head just isn't working well for me. For context, I shave my head, cheeks, throat and neck while growing my beard at the sideburns and jaw with my mustache connected to my beard.What seems to be the issue with me is the comb is just a tad too long. It rubs heavily on my skin, so while my loaded blade does indeed cut stubble, I can't get that smooth shave since the comb keeps pushing the skin on my face and neck down away from the blade edge. For shaving my head, the comb makes getting the proper angle on the blade rather difficult.So, if my experience could be the same for many others, then I'd say this head would be ideal if you grow your beard out for a week or longer then shave it. The open comb and head is very easily cleaned and won't hold on to cut hair and stubble. I shave once or twice a week, so my stubble definitely gets long enough to be highly visible, but it doesn't get really long.So, for that reason, I'll hang on to this head and leave it on the razor handle I installed it on. But for butterfly shaving, my butterfly razor from ZOMCHI gives me the best overall shave.

I bought this just for laughs. Don’t use it much; it is the most aggressive razor I have used (after sixty years). Not for a beginner! Quality is good.

Made in Canada, or at least shipped from. Very close shave yet mild. Does still require a little effort to clean out residue. I’d recommend a light handle to pair with. Used a Croma on first shave with some Proraso blue in tube.
