Quick Fix and Easy Install
Our washer displayed LE error. Research led us to believe it was due to a faulty sensor. My husband was able to locate and remove the sensor within about 10-15 minutes and verify that this sensor was a match. The part number printed on our sensor matched the part number shown for this sensor. We ordered it and it arrived the next day. Within about 15 minutes, he had it in place and everything back together again. The washer is working perfectly again! The entire process from disassembly to installation was quite straightforward.

Kenmore LE error
After finding out that my Kenmore washing machine was throwing LE error. I was able to replace this part. This part fits perfectly and it was able to resolve the error! Recommend if you have a LG/Kenmore washer issue.

All my LG needed for spin cycle
I replaced three parts on an LG washer. It kept freaking out during the spin cycle- and erroring. This was the last part I tried before needing a whole new washing machine. I swapped this part and the LG machine ran like new. When you get the part, you’ll probably wonder how this piece of plastic does anything but it works.

Works but Not exact fit for wm2016cw
LG washer stopped working after 14 years and google/reddit/youtube said to replace this sensor. Can’t believe it actually fixed the problem! The sensor has some gel in it that eventually dries so needs replacing! The description says it fits wm2016cw but it is not an exact fit…I believe i needed the “2001” model but trusted the exact fit description in this listing, which is inaccurate. I had to shave off some of the plastic that was scrapping against the rotor magnets (was making a loud scrapping sound similar to bad car rotors) to get it to fit. After some trial and error, I shaved enough off to the point where eventually the rest of the plastic will be worn away and the sound should disappear.Otherwise it got the washing machine back up and running so was happy about that! It works but minus 1 star bc it’s not a true fit for my machine. The listing needs to remove the machine from the list.

Need impact wrench to remove nut does not break free.
Youtube repair videos show bolt breaking free with a quick but firm turn to left with a cresent wrench. After 2 hours of struggle applying penetrating oil, initially trying cresent wrench, 15/16 standard wrench, and finally using drill with socket I borrowed an impact wrench which removed it with 3 quick trigger pulls. If you can't tighten to 80 lbs torque then you need to use blue lock tight. A friend suggested I could have used silicone in place of the more costly lock tight at $10 for a 1 ounce tube. I believe the nut is a 24 metric. I was able to substitute a 12 point 15/16 but the 6 sided socket wouldn't fit. If the nut is not tightened sufficiently, the washers vibration will loosen it. The washer will again show the LE code and won't function until the rotor nut is tightened down again. You may be able to remove the nut without an impact wrench but I'm a female senior without the upper body strength of most men.
