my kitties deserve the best, this litter delivers.
We have 2 very large cats using this litter. Usually, 1- 25lb. bag will cover that time frame. the smell is very well controlled and clumps really well. It's a little pricey but my kitties are worth it. Easy to clean never smells bad. Since it is in our bedroom not being smelly is very important. It gets kicked around a lot, cats are vigorous potty goers, I don't notice it being dusty though. clean up, when you empty and do the whole box, is a whiz. Spray with soap, wipe, dry and fill. Try to get extra when on sale. A great litter for my 2 great kitties, the value is important to me.

At first, I had my doubts about trying this particular brand of cat litter. It wasn't an easy decision for me, mainly because I didn't want to invest in a product that might not meet my expectations. However, looking back, I am incredibly grateful that I took the plunge and gave it a chance! You see, I’m not one of those diligent pet owners who cleans the litter box every single day; in fact, I typically clean it just once a week. To accommodate this less frequent cleaning schedule, I make sure to provide my cat with a spacious litter box. This is essential because it gives him plenty of room to move around and do his business comfortably. One of the standout features of this litter, which I absolutely love, is how well the clumps hold together. When I finally get around to cleaning the box, I find that the clumps remain intact, making it much easier to scoop out the waste without leaving anything behind. In contrast to other litters I’ve tried in the past, my cat seems to prefer this one, as he diligently buries his poop—something that I genuinely appreciate. Another pleasant surprise was the aroma of the litter. Unlike most cat litters that can have an overpowering or unpleasant scent, this one has a very mild and fresh fragrance. It's not just better for my cat, but also for me, as it keeps the area around the litter box smelling nice and clean. Additionally, I’ve noticed that this litter produces no dust at all, which is a significant advantage for both my health and my cat's. Dusty litters can be a real nuisance, and I’m so relieved to have found a product that is clean and easy to manage. Overall, I’m extremely happy that I decided to try this litter, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to other cat owners who might be on the fence, just as I was!

Great Cat Litter!
I have tried a lot of different litters. I only have one cat. It clumps great and has good odor control. This is definitely the best! I will be buying this brand from now on. To people that rated this low, I have one question. How often do you clean out your litter box (scooping not replacing)? It should be once a day minimum. If you are still trying to find a high quality litter. This is it.

Works well but lately it's very dusty
We've been using this sWheat Scoop in the green bag for over 10 years. It works well with clumping and odor otherwise I wouldn't keep using it. Only complaint lately is that it is pretty dusty with the endless excavation process of my new boy kitty. He creates a dust cloud that is all over the nearest furniture and the dust is slippery on the floor. I'm cleaning more now than I did with my old kitty who didn't excavated to this extent! Might have to find an alternative or get an enclosed litter box to contain the dust.

Tracks, Stinks, and more.
I buy a LOT of stuff from Amazon, but I write hardly any reviews. I had to regarding this product. I have 5 cats that are all rescue cats, but one. With six litter boxes, we were really looking for a more natural litter that wasn't dusty and didn't track. Odor control and clumping was a plus too. I saw this product, loved the idea and most of the reviews and gave it a try........unfortunately. I put this product in the two main litter boxes that are used the most, as a trial. After using the 75 pounds I bought, I have determined that this may be the worst cat litter we have ever tried. First, it tracks like crazy. It is made of wheat, so imagine clumps and crumbs of urine soaked "cookie dough" everywhere. We have large litter mats in front of all the pans and we STILL have cat litter on the carpets, the kitchen floor, the beds, the window sills, you name it. We vacuum constantly. This stuff is VERY sticky when wet and the cats always have it stuck to their feet. The stickiness is an issue when cleaning the pans too. It never clumps hard, but remains moist and like glue on the sides and bottom of the cat pans, requiring a good deal of effort to scrap the pan clean. (BTW - I would NEVER flush this stuff down a toilet with a septic system! That would simply be asking for an expensive repair.) It is heavy, wet, and is not cost effective at all. The next big problem is the smell. Admittedly, it does a good job of masking the urine smell.........with it's own sickening urine/wheat combination smell. We've had cats for most of the last 40 years. We used to place rescued litters at our family business. We are very used to cleaning cat pans. The smell from this stuff almost makes me gag and my wife just can't stand it. I don't like perfumed cat litter, but this odor is worse. Lastly, and more importantly (and the push I needed to write this review), two of my cats have developed pretty severe skin allergies, resulting in constant licking and hair pulling......creating large hairless areas. We have never experienced this before. Our vet thought it was a food allergy but was skeptical. We tried hypo-allergenic foods to no avail. I had to dose each one with anti-histamines each day, and even that did not completely stop the itching. Removing this litter from the equation has dramatically improved the condition. Their hair is starting to grow back (in a different color! LOL) We never thought that cat litter could be the issue, until the vet asked about any litter changes. All in all, I would not recommend this litter. When I changed litter, I had to scrub the pans with soap and water and a rough sponge. Some of the dried on spots required scraping with a cedar shingle. I'm using a non-tracking, non-stick kind now. I like it much better. I know I sound like a real complainer, but I'm really not. This is just a bad product. At least it is for us, and our cats, and I thought other cat lovers should know of our experience before buying this. It is really too bad as this seems like such a good, healthy idea.

The sWeat Scoop is one of the best cat litters that we have used.
The sWeat Scoop Cat Litter works very well. The cats seem to enjoy using it. It clumps well and is easy to clean from the litter box. We have used many brands of litter over the years and this is one of the best. Of our twelve cats, only one refuses to use it. She is 15 years old and will only use what she always used.

Third bag and still happy!
After many. many years of dusty clay litter I finally switched to sWheat Scoop litter. The idea of using something healthier for both my cat and me was very appealing. Even more convincing was finding all the places where the clay dust had sifted in what I always viewed as my tidy bedroom suite. There was clay dust in every crevice, even inside the motor casing of my ceiling fan. A major cleaning took place and then the new sWheat litter. I didn't want to deal with another clay dust clean up so I crossed my fingers and dumped it in the clean pan. (They tell you to transition the cat onto the new litter over a period of days) RP loved it! Jumped in, gave it a good inspection and then had a nice wee. He has been happily using it ever since with no issues. I keep a nice deep layer in the pan at all times and scoop daily. By doing this, there is no odor, unless he jumps out without burying his treasures. The urine clumps nicely and is easy to scoop and dump into little dollar store trash bags, the same with his bm's although if he doesn't bury that and I notice it in the pan, I scoop it up, give it a shake to get rid of the loose sWheat granules, drop in the toilet and flush. The questions everyone want to have answered.... What does it smell like - there is a faint scent, a bit like dry sweet hay. Is it dusty - there is a bit of dust when you dump it in, but very minimal and nothing like what I had from my high end 'low dust' clay litter. Does it track - yes, but again it is not as much as the old litter. Because of the way cat feet are designed, litter is always going to get between toe pads and when they jump out it will fall out. I keep a little dust pan & brush next to his litter pan. When I do the daily scoop routine, I flick my little brush around, gather the bits in the dust pan and dump back in the cat pan. It only takes a minute to clean up. and now for the big question.... Does it smell bad and the big answer... If you don't properly maintain your cat pan, it is always going to smell bad. Stale urine and feces develop a very unpleasant odor. BUT,,, if you keep enough litter in the pan, and scoop once a day, EVERY DAY, you will not have any odor. If you have four cats like my friend, the pan may need more attention than just once a day - or a second pan available. I am on my third bag and very happy. The dust is so much less than the old clay litter. Any dust or scatter is much safer for both you and your cat. It isnt chemically treated clay that is terrible for your lungs. The bags aren't as heavy to lug around. No fake perfumy smell that both you and the cat hate. It works for us.

Golden ticket 🎫
I bought a bag not having high hopes but completely fed up with clay and OMG I’m so glad I did. I’m am so pleasantly surprised with this! The forever pee smell is gone it doesn’t stick to the sides like it life depends on it and tracking is way down. My cats didn’t mind the switch at all. Everything clumps great and if it do break it’s not like clay you can still scoop it out! I was able to stop using carpet powder and automatic aerosol air fresheners in there it’s amazing. The bags aren’t heavy like clay litter is. I’m no longer in dead lifting for my noses sake!!!! The bag are not small either for the container I keep it in I’d say two to fill it and it normally lasts a couple months. I scoop every morning and it doesn’t seem to be using anymore then what clay does so I figure it’ll last just as long! I recommend this 1000% if you tired of your nose being assaulted everyday and walking the pebbled path of doom, while playing art class with pee clay this is what you want! I’m so never going back!!!!
