Exceeded all my expectations.
First off the shipping was FAST! Received in half the time quoted at checkout. These are HEAVY DUTY! I have ordered several other tire skates and they have all been wimpy compared to these. I won't be returning these! These are definitely worth the money and at free shipping you won't go wrong. The only improvement I could see would be to have two wheels on each skate with the locking feature would be nice but its not necessary. These are ten times better than the other states I have bought and I've had to return all of the rest because they were just flimsy and weak. The other ones I have bought had the flimsy little side crosspieces which would indicate to most people that it's needed because the metal is so thin. These skates are very thick metal, they are anodized not just painted,. The only drawback is since they are so well built they are a tad bit on the heavy side, but then again so am I so that just means we are both quality built. The other nice thing about these is that the casters are heavy duty and have one solid stud to bolt on instead of the four flimsy little studs on the other competitors cheap casters. If you need car skates , get these, you won't be disappointed at all. Don't waste your time and money on those other cheap Units like I did. The last nice thing about these is that my rear tires are quite wide but fit nice on these. They didn't fit on the cheaper flimsy skates I tried previously because of the stupid cross bars those use to try and increase stength due to the cheap stamped metal they use.

Heavy, stout little buggers
6:30 am and I hear diesel motoring near the house. No big, it's trash pick up day. Then I hear hydraulics and a lift gate working. The driveway alarm sounds and the German Shepherd goes ballistic. Left on the porch is an 80# box with the car skateboards. Assembly was simple and quick, requiring a 19mm socket.I lowered the MB E320 onto each skate. No protesting sounds from the metal or casters heard. The car is 3500#. Moving the car on concrete via the skates still required firm footing, leverage and firmly attached car body parts. Initially, if the casters are not oriented in the direction you wish to travel, a bit of cardio workout may be needed in order to deflect the skate 90º-ish before redirecting towards your target location. Given the dog hairs and minor grit on the concrete floor, I needed to perform multiple 'bumps' to get the momentum going a few times.NOTE: my front tire is 8.75" / 225mm wide. the rear tire is 10.5" / 265mm wide. The front oh-so-barely cleared the caster stud/nuts. The wider rear tire makes contact so I slide a wood shim between the tire and the skate. So while the product description boasts 12" x 16" plate dimension, don't be mislead by this. Note that your tire side may touch the protruding fasteners if you plan to use the skates on an SUV or truck. There is a hole punched in the center, along one end (for mounting). I lashed mountaineering webbing to it for easier grabbing when I need to hang the skates up and to get it off the ground.I purchased the Pentagon skates despite the slightly higher cost when compared to Harbor Freight dollies based on reviews which touted the beefier metal skate thickness. I will check for deformity in a week or so and provide an update if anything changes.update: the casters on the Pentagon sakes are 3" in diameter. the next month, I upgraded and replaced these skates with the wheel/jack combo design which were equipped with 4" diameter casters.

Work very well
I bought these to use to move my 20 foot deck boat on the trailer. I store it in a garage with a concrete floor. I found it difficult to try and move it by myself but with my wife’s help it was easier. Once moving it was fine. It was again a bit difficult to change directions but not impossible.

Heavy Duty
More than enough for my needs. Would've liked a way to lock wheels for safety but should be fine. Shipping took a little longer than expected.

Gain some storage space, take control of your garage.
I received these in short order and put the casters on in about 15 minutes and was ready to try them. First of all I was taken by the quality of these, it was difficult to carry the box to the garage it was so heavy, the quality of the material and the casters is top shelf. After I assembled them I jacked up one corner of my 1968 Mustang at a time until I had all 4 tires on the Dollies. After that I was able to simple position the car in my 3rd stall anywhere I wanted. I push it to the far front corner so I can now get my garden tractor in and out with the plow on it, I also have enough room for my 2 motorcycles now that I can move the car around all winter.I used to have to rent a storage unit for the toys all winter ($500) so these paid for themselves right out of the gate.

work great
I purchased these back in October they sat on my bench unit February when i finally got around to cleaning and organizing my garage so i could move my car around. I have a 73 Challenger, I wanted to be able to move around in my garage easily. These things work great. i did have a second person to help move it just to be safe. i didn't want to hurt the car. all they had to do was to help steer it. we were both amazed how easy the car moved with very little effort at all. now for the best part i went out to the garage and need to move the car a little. After sitting on these skates all this time ( about 2 1/2 months) and yes the was on them the entire time. The wheels on the skates didn't and i repeat did not get flat spots on them the car moved as easily as it did the the day i put the car on them. And for the price i would recommend them to anyone.
