Brushes well, nice size
Great size for long coat chihuahua. Brushes very well. When the brush comes out the dogs come running to be first in line. The brush is quite expensive but works better than any dog brush I've had. I'm sure the bristles would bend if not treated properly, but if stored in a safe place it holds up well. I bought one a couple of years ago and loved it, however it go misplaced. Searched and searched and finally give in and bought a second one.

I can't believe I sprung for a 32 dollar brush...and think it's worth it
I can find decent brushes for under 10 dollars, so it's surprising I bought this one, but it is well worth it. My Samoyed’s undercoat is so dense and outer coat is so long that her fur easily mats and tangles just from collars and harnesses or even going a few days without deep brushing. I laughed about people saying their dogs used to run away from other brushes but now seem happy about being brushed with this one. I too am astonished that my dog is more cooperative and even relaxes while being brushed. This brush seems to be very sturdy. I like the long 35mm pins that don’t have balls on the ends that can snag. Pins have not bent from deep brushing, and glide more smoothly through her fur compared to other pin brushes. I like that the pins are mounted into the rubber base more flatly across the oval brush head. Pins mounted on brushes with a curved rubber bubble base causes pins in the center of the oval head to extend further than pins around the edge, making it less efficient for brushing deeply into the coat.A negative for me is that the brush handle is not very comfortable for a long brushing session. Maybe a little padding or an oval shape for the handle would make it more comfortable. I also wish they sold the 35mm brush with a smaller head to get into tight spots like around ears and where the body meets the legs.I’ll try to remember to update this post to tell the effectiveness of the brush after she blows her undercoat, and I'm brushing out bags full of fur for several days straight.

Just Buy This Brush! They’re not all the same!
Best brush ever! I’ve bought so many brushes, different styles, different brands different types both my dogs have diff types of fur they get so matted and usually it takes me at least an hour to brush them with detangling spray. I didn’t even need the spray. I used Chris Christiansen mark II slicker in 20 minutes total and my mini schnauzer, barely growled or try to snap at me because clearly he was not in pain like he usually is with all the other brushes. I did not want to pay the extra money initially because I thought all slicker precious are the same clearly they are not! Get this brush so your fur babies can finally experience less pull and pain from brushing and less stress and time on you!!!

Definitely small!
I read the description and specs for this brush but I was still taken back by how small it is. I used it on my 2 Shih Tzu’s and it worked great. It’s perfect for my little 8lb girl but a bit small for my 16lb boy. They hate to be brushed because they don’t like how their hair gets pulled…but with this brush they stayed still and let me do it. Handle is small and not too thick so you can basically palm the entire brush in your hand. The stainless steel bristles are rigid and goes through my shih tzu’s hair without bending and pulling as I brush them. I could tell the brush was getting the undercoat and removed loose hair. Cleaning the brush was super easy. Hair slid right off.My only complaint is the price! $30 for something so small is a bit steep but it is a good quality brush.

I like this slicker brush.
I like this slicker brush for my Cavapoo's. When it arrived I was almost done with line grooming one of my girls. I had used a two sided slicker brush and metal comb. The brush was packaged nicely to avoid damage to the bristles. I decided to regroom the same pup with my new slicker brush. I was able to get much more coat out. As with all slicker brushes the bristles are VERY sharp. Caution to both user and when using on pet. It fits nicely on my hand. I have a small hand. The girls didn't object to this brush, but they were already being groomed with a different slicker. Is it worth the money? I want to say yes, but it will depend on how long it holds up.

Excellent product 👌
The media could not be loaded. I LOVE this brush!!!!I wish I bought it long time ago. The price was slowing me from purchasing it, but now I know it's worth of every penny.Smooth, soft... it doesn't scratch the skin. And it doesn't brush just the top of the hair . Excellent job! Thank you 😊

Really works!
As other reviewers have commented, this brush works great for long-haired dogs. I used it on my Great Pyrenees and it easily brushed their long fur.
