Good Bar, could do with instructions on how to tighten.
The bar doesn't come with any instructions and it comes with two extra screws and two plugs - which gave me the impression that in order to make it secure you need to use the screws. It wasn't immediately obvious (to me at least) that you that you tighten it by inserting the bar and then twisting the centre anti-clockwise, rather than trying to tighten each individual end. Once I got the hang of it, it worked fine and I'm pleased with the purchase.

Sturdy pullup bar
This is the only pullup bar I've had and it does a great job! My door frames don't allow for the kind that hooks onto the frame so had to opt for the doorway kind. It can be used for a variety of excerices such as: pullups, inverted rows, incline pushups, attaching rings and resistant bands. It has little levers on each side to stop the bar from rotating, I've found I don't even need them. I've easily relied on the friction of the hexagonal surfaces of the telescopic bar to keep it sturdy. As long as you set it up in the direction that when you grip it, the bar can only rotate in the direction to make it even tighter to the door frame. I've found it can extend and retract to fit a variety of door frames so is great for travel. The foam padding along the whole bar is a nice touch.

Was good but broke after a few months of use
The bar was great, easy to use and convenient but adjusting the length of the bar became very difficult and infuriating. The bar on one side would loosen and slide inwards by an inch or would just complete stop moving preventing it to be adjusted. I've looked to see if I could get this returned or repaired but no options are available that I've seen. Very good product otherwise.

Best pull Up bar on amazon hands down
Very very comfortable as it’s all foam with no metal exposed. The foam is thick and not slippery. The bar was easy to install and is verrrryyy sturdy you just have to twist from the middle and it tightens securely with an added security lock to make sure it doesn’t move or fall. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

A little expensive compared to others on offer but well ...
A little expensive compared to others on offer but well made . I used longer fixiing screws than the ones provided and it seems solid enough for my 80 kilos . Take a little time to choose Your fixiing hight before You get the drill out , could have mounted mine a little higher with hindsight.

Just what I need to keep fit. Its strong and extends across our outside pagoda posts where I use it.Works for me. One of the little black knobs it came with wa cracked but easy enough to get another one online.It doesn't really need the knobs if one is using it on solid walls but as I am using on wooden posts, I do need them as I do not want topush the posts apart when tightened. I am already seeing results in muscle growth and stamina.

Very disappointing
I've owned this bar for about 9 months now and have found it to be very sturdy and comfortable to grip.However, the rubber pads at either end which are meant to hold the bar in place have become very dry and slippery making it impossible to use; hanging any weight off the bar makes it slip and fall down.Great pull up bar if you only want one for about 9 months, but if you expect it to last any longer than that look elsewhere.

I need a replacement part
Hello, this item was what was expected but unfortunately one if the couplings broke when tightening and I need a replacement.... can this be sent? I have ordered another whole set for my other son too. I was also missing any instructions so had to work it out for myself.
