My elderly cat had some litter box problems. This cleaner completely removed the stains and odor. The scent of the cleaner itself is fresh and herbal. It's important to follow the directions, and really soak the area, then cover it so it can "cook" for at least a few hours. Once you wipe it up and let it dry, there's no odor at all!

We have been using this for years. A very good product.

I admit that I tried this for a stain that was not animal oriented. I have a pillowcase that has yellowed due to night sweating. I'm afraid that though I soaked it overnight in the stain remover, it had no effect. I also tried it on a very dirty carpet where it provided a very minimal effect. Neither use is one that the product claims to solve as the official use is for pet stains. It may do very well at that but I didn't happen to have any pet stains to try it on.

Very effective removing stain and scent of dog pee on our white rug. We’ve tried many other products. This is the best. Doesn’t leave the cloying odor of some other dog brands.

Can't live without it - put it in the bleach compartment and a splash in the fabric softener of my front loader and wash warm. Takes all the stink out of the wash, even sour towels or smelly athletic gear. Older cat peed on my son's brand new backpack (huh?!!) and soaked it in a solution of this stuff - carefully spraying seams and washed in machine on warm - 2 runs through machine and it is good as new. I was preparing to throw it out.You can't premix - it needs a little warm water (not hot) to activate the enzyme action. Wish it was a little less pricey but it replaces most of the laundry products I was using to remove organic stains and smells (food stains, human funk, mildew, pet "accidents"). A bigger gallon size with a discounted bulk price would be great!

My cat went crazy when I kept my daughters cat for 10 days, peed on my hall carpet multiple times. Product worked well but I cleaned it with Unique 3 times and then steamed cleaned 2 times. My carpet was in a terrible mess but Unique did get the odor out, nothing else I tried even came close.

Happy for the money and easy to use

I first bought this when I had a small elderly dog who had become incontinent. It is phenomenally good at getting rid of pet pee (and poo!) stains. Now we have three cats who like to vomit hairballs everywhere...I am pleased to report my carpet does not smell like cats or hairballs. This stuff is great, it works, and there is almost nothing it can't get rid of.
