Lionel FasTrack Electric O Gauge, Accessory Activator Track Pack

These tracks are really well made and snap together really well. Train works great on the new track.

I received the Polar Express Gateman and like everyone else......could not get it to work. The gateman light would turn on but the gateman initially either stayed outside or inside but he never did what he was supposed to do. I followed the directions of another customer and took out the silver bar and it still did not work even though he was correct in saying this (confirmed by Lionel customer service). I spoke to Lionel today after watching various videos and checking out the train forums because I could not figure out the problem. After confirming I had removed the silver bar, they suggested turning the two 5" side pieces with the break in the track to the opposite side of where you plug in the gatemen to the activator pack (which is opposite what the directions tell you to do). I guess Amazon got a batch of these that the factory put in something opposite of what they should have (a quality control issue for Lionel, not Amazon). After hours of working on this, the gateman works like a charm. The light stays on continuously when the train is running and the gateman appears when the train goes by.

This is the piece we needed to be able to light up our covered bridge. It was an easy install & the track is original Lionel! It’s great!

The track was exactly as subscribed and works well. Item was a little bit overpriced. That’s all.

This track section is required to animate the Polar Express gate house. It did its job.

Worked for about 6 weeks. No longer returnable. Track has a electrical short (likely in the circuit board) and is always active
