I didn’t know with the reviews if it was worth the risk to buy it. Every opinion on here was a bit different but I took the risk. The multiple reviews of the recliner not wanting to close unless you stand up and close it is true. Unless while sitting down you lean forward and slam one foot back hard enough. The review about the seat being firm is true. When I first sat in it, it was super firm. But as I sat back and pulled the recliner lever, it reclined really really far back. It felt like it was sucking me into the recliner. Which was nice to feel comfortable. But as I am 5’8inches and 180 lbs the recliner when reclining back my heal just barely came to the end foot rest. But as for my shorter family members sitting in the chair it’s hard to rock and touch the floor. I do love the wide arm rests as for a mom of a premie infant that doesn’t sleep well the arm rests allows me to hold a lot of his medical supplies on the arm rests. It’s also comfortable to hold him in it as well. For my partner and his other side of the family who are above 6 foot tall. The chair is okay, their feet over hang the foot rest. They have some space in between the armrest and their thighs. They even struggle putting the footrest down. I wish it swivels but it rocks which is the most important. I also wish it was super bulky as it does take up a lot in the living room.Overall, this chair was worth the risk and it’s comfortable and beautiful. It fits my decor perfectly.

I love this chair!

I've had this chair for a few months.I'm 6 feet tall, and the chair fits me well.The foot rest control, which is a tab you pull on theright side of the chairm, is very easy to use.And with the chair fully extended I've fallen asleep a few times.The only "issue" I have is the use of a bright almost goldcolored thread for accent stitching. I would have preferreda counter-stitching thread color closer to the brown color of thefabric.So if I was going to buy this chair again, I might go with the blackcolor. Then again, maybe not, as the black color was moreexpensive.All in all, I think most people would be very happy with this chairand overall so am I.

I wanted to wait a few months before reviewing this recliner. There was a very slight "new furniture" smell which disappeared quickly. It was super easy to assemble, it comes in two pieces in one big box, just take everything out of the plastic, align the two metal extensions on the back with the slots at the back of the seat, slide it down and it locks in, and that's that. If you have to do this by yourself, the best way is to sit down on the floor behind the seat, take the back and lift it up and into place. The back is much lighter than the seat so it isn't difficult.This is a very comfortable recliner. The lever on the side opens the foot rest easily. To put the foot rest back you pretty much have to get up and push it with your heel back into place. You can close it while remaining seated but it's not easy. The rocking motion is totally smooth. It reclines almost to flat but not quite. I'm six foot one and this recliner is big enough for me, but anyone taller might find the leg rest a bit too short. The fabric is soft and the two-tone look is very attractive. I think this recliner is very well worth the money.

Nice color, nice materials, fits in my living room perfectly

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He's a big man so it needed to be roomy and comfortable. Fits him perfectly! Very well made.

For me: the seat is WAY to firm and not very comfortable. The back of the chair is fine but the tilt forces your head and neck way too forward and makes it uncomfortable. To be fair I am 6 2 so your experience with the back may be different than mine. One aggravating thing is the foot rest. If you lean back and then sit up you must slam the foot rest down for it catch otherwise it just pops right up. I bought it to replace a recliner that I have had for years I now find myself sitting in the old recliner. After the first of the year it's gone and will be looking for another.

Chair arrived in perfect condition. Very comfortable and easy to set up. Just two pieces, "click" and your done. Love it in every way.
