Neilmed Nasogel for Dry Noses 1 Oz

I’m pretty happy with this NasoGel from NeilMed. I was looking for an alternative to petroleum jelly (since it’s not ideal to use too much of that in your nose), and this has been a great option so far. The first time I used it, there was a slight stinging sensation for a second or two, which I’ve read can happen—especially if your nasal passages are already irritated. Since it contains saline, that makes sense. I’ve been using it each evening after my shower, and it’s been working well for me. One thing to note is that it’s water-based, so it doesn’t leave that constant moist feeling like petroleum jelly. At first, that felt a bit strange—almost like the opposite of what I expected—but once I got used to it, I realized it still helps create a protective barrier and maintain moisture. There is a slight scent when first applied, but it fades quickly and doesn’t linger, which I appreciate. If you’re switching from petroleum-based products, it may take a little time to adjust, but it’s worth trying. The price is fair, and it works well for me!

This stuff finally makes my nostrils comfortable when extremely irritated. Otherwise I have to hold a wet washcloth over my nose for hours. Saline spray, Ayr nose gel, and Vaseline still irritate my nostrils, but this stuff does not. I read in the reviews that some people say it turns white but that has not happened for me. If it would turn white I wouldn't care because I'm finally getting some relief! The alternatives are way too expensive. There is no need to spend that much money when this is available. Nice cooling effect. The applicator sucks. Use a q tip. You'd think they'd have gotten the message by now.

This is a solid product, as have been all the other products I have tried from the NeilMed company. We use their daily sinus rinse, earwax cleaning kit, etc. This is a wonderful solution to dry noses and sinuses from using indoor heat in the winter. If you use a CPAP at night, even with a humidifier, your nose can still get very dry. A quick swipe of this in your nostrils before bedtime really makes it more comfortable. I have not noticed a smell of any kind. It does not take much of the product, so I think it will last a good while. This is a bit easier to use than the NasoGel spray, just wipe the top clean, cap it, and you are good to go for the next use. It’s not expensive so it’s a good value for something that just provides additional comfort.

Estoy muy contenta con este gel, y que antes utilizaba una crema de coco orgánica pero la descontinuaron. Este gel si tienes la nariz irritada arde un poco pero nada que no se pueda soportar comparado a otros productos que ya e utilizado y no me han funcionado como lo es el agua salina. Aunque libera casi toda mi congestión este gel a diferencia me crea una capa que hace que no se me reseque la nariz por dentro evitando que me de congestión y molestias.

I got this when I was sick, and had severe nasal congestion. Instead of using the nose sprays, I was able to use this (and nasal irrigation) to ease that inflammation. It’s not a sticky unpleasant feel. It’s not hard to use. It’s not hard to get used to. It’s a great product that’s been so beneficial. I’ll keep using this, every night, even when I’m well, to help with nasal dryness from cpap. I strongly rec this product

Still not sure of the whole aim here. Supposed to be helping keep nose moist, but in a very short time turns into white crusty stuff. Uhhhh, not impressed.

Seems to work for the issue. Perfect so far.

I have a lot of clear mucus due to a nasal problem. Nothing clears it out except for this product. It gets out all the mucus that all other products that are supposed to do this don’t do. It has helped solve a problem nothing else, and I have tried everything from prescription and non prescription medications of every type.. My doctor is so impressed she took the name to suggest it to her other patients with similar issues.

Item seems exposed and was pretty hot while getting, since it’s clearly mentioned not to exceed the certain temperature, its not followed

Non seulement tu te retrouves avec les nez complètement sec 5 minutes après l'application, mais en plus ça te fait des croûtes blanchâtres dans les narines quand ça sèche. Super glamour...
