Works for 97 Suburban.
Fits and works for my 1996 Chevy Suburban 5.7L. Make sure to note the depth of the threads and be aware coolant will drain out of the location.

knock,knock. Who's there?
Needed something to plug the hole left when I removed the old one. This one fit perfectly. Installed on a 1999 GMC Yukon with 5.7 Vin R engine.

Great product for after 1995 c1500
Good product but wrong part for 1995 and earlier c1500's. Before 96 the knock sensors had 1 - 10 ohms of resistance, 96-99 they have 100 ohms of resistance. this product has 100 ohms of resistance. My 93 c1500 didn't like it.

No good. Resistance tested good 100k ohms but no frequency output when tapped.
