Basic wiring skills then you can do it
I got this because for some reason the wireless controller I have stopped working. It was very easy to install. Other than cutting into the wall for the electrical box installation took less than an hour. If you have basic wiring skills/knowledge you can install this yourself. Also if you have any questions, Quietcool has videos on its website to help with installation.

Works Great
Works great on all settings. It’s great to have the timer set or on constant depending on how cool I want the house.

Replaced our spring loaded wall timer (from QuiteCool) after the knob kept breaking. I expect this electronic timer to last much longer. Much easier to operate and it handles our three QuioteCool fans just as the other time did. Forget trying to find a replacement knob for your broken timer, just buy one of these.

Timer stopped working in a year
It worked good last summer, but now it will not stay on for more than 10 minutes unless in "hold" which defeats the point. Kind of bummed about the longevity.
