As described and pictured fast secure shipping. I used to add a power passenger seat to my truck. With this tool I was able to test both switches, and all 3 motors before wiring. I then could determine which wires powered what all without blowing a fuse and which was ground and neutral. Now I can tackle any wiring job with confidence. Easy to use if you have ever wired before. Good price and quality. Wish I had this years ago. Great addition to my tool box. Highly recommend product and seller. The ability to power up motors and switches with the tool is a game changer. Wish it would work on 48v dc but up to 24v dc isn't bad. If you wire your own 12-24v dc you need this. It saves time and money, paid for it self with my first project. Great tool, due yourself a favor and buy it. Awesome product.

I purchased this VERY well made test set in 2015. I had always made my own from a 12 volt light and 10-14 gauge wire. Why I did not get this sooner I can't understand- after 3 years I have found this test set to be a top notch time saver, one of the BEST investments for maintenance and repair of the trucks I and my mother depend on for our isolated life here in extreme N.E.Wyoming (90 miles from the nearest city, no dependable repair shop there that I can afford).When I'm on the 55 miles of dirt back roads, to get to the Interstate in -30 temperatures to get to my once a month shopping trip, I can't risk my life to any "electrical hiccup" This set includes almost everything needed to isolate an electrical problem, diagnosis of the many sensor systems that are used on any truck made from the early 80's (I have a 1986 Ranger and a 1994 GMC K2500) both need all the systems to operate in sync to run at top efficiency, I have saved countless hours with this test system. If you are a "Self required mechanic ", this set will save you much , both in hours and sanity . I waited the 3 years before giving this review to see if this set was a lasting investment - TOP NOTCH !!

I bought this tool to help me trouble shoot electrical problems for car doors. The tool helped me locate a bad driver side switch for the driver side window on a Buick Park Avenue. The other circuits for the remaining three doors were in good shape. Also used the tool to find the cut wire in an electric door lock on an Infinity SUV. The third time I used it was to find the reason why there was no power to the driver side courtesy lamp, while the the passenger courtesy lamp was working fine. This was on a Ford Mustang. The Power Probe III also showed me the electric fan in a car worked correctly once power was sent through the circuit. The last time I used the Power Probe III was to check and see what the intermediate problem with an AC compressor was about on a Toyota Minivan. Regarding the AC compressor issue, it turned out when the compressor was cold it worked fine, but when it heated up it locked itself down. No need to replace everything when you can pin point the problem. This is a great product for electrical work on cars and trucks.

I read reviews about the Power Probe and having a 2000 Mercedes ML320 I obviously have electrical issues so purchasing the Power Probe was a slam dunk decision. It allowed me to test the passenger window motor while it was in the door. I didn't expect much form the white LED's but I was wrong, very wrong. They are bright and typically illuminate exactly where the probe has to go. In any case I became well acquainted the the tool to the extent that I soon recognized it in the hands of Edd China (he is British) mechanical savant on Wheeler Dealer. This is not a product placement so often seen on the Velocity channel. After seeing a few more episodes its obvious that Edd uses it often to investigate electrical problems. He never refers to it by name or conveniently has the tool fill the frame with the logo in view - he just uses the hell out of it. This is made in the USA, the blow molded case is a good fit for the tools which are well designed and well made. The question that must be asked is what are the other tools that he uses that make the work easier? Suggest AMZ do a tool inventory at Edd's and publish it as a wish list.
