Can;t believe we found these
Our wood blinds are over 40 years old. Over time, the plastic mechanisms for the wands have deteriorated. Thought we'd try these before spending a fortune on new blinds. Eh, Voila! they worked beautifully. My husband installed them without trouble. So we are thrilled.

Tight fit but possible
Lots of feedback here about needing to file the bar to make this fit. It was definitely snug but I was able to get it on without filing by passing it back and forth over the rod several times on the OTHER side of the rod that is exposed to enable installation. Get it on there and work it back and forth and you will get a perfect fit when you switch it to the other side for installation.

Square hole a little too small
I needed to file the inside of the square hole to make this fit. If I didn’t have the tool (1/4 “metal file), I would have had to return the item.

Hole is too small but can be made to fit.
This seems like a good quality mechanism, I just installed it so time will tell. Like others have said, the hole is too small for my rod. I used a metal file on the bar and got it to fit well! Happy to have found this, much cheaper than new blinds.

Perfect fit
I emailed the company and attached a photo of the broken wand turner because I was having trouble getting the correct. They wrote back quickly with the part identification number and I ordered it. Perfect fit. Their help saved me a lot of time and hassle.Product was shipped quickly and packaged nicely. Altogether very good experience.

Window Blind Fix

The 1/4 square hole is not even. The rod does not completely go through.

Required just a small filing
Product works fine but had to file the opening to fit the 1/4" rod. Poor attention to detail in manufacture left edges that made fit impossible without the filing down of edges.
