From the reviews I read, I thought this would be a nice seasonal book. However, Canadians should be advised that the plot hinges on the American sequence of autumn holidays (Columbus Day/Halloween/US Thanksgiving). It is a cute book, but I wouldn’t have bought it, had I known that.
