I broke the slide on the door by trying to close the dryer with it out still. This replacement came fast and fit perfectly. It was very easy to install. Took 1 minute to replace the broken one.

The color mismatches a little and had to use some elbow grease to get it to slide in, but this piece was missing from our apartment's dryer when we moved in. Helps hold everything in place so the lint trap doesn't come out.

Simple repair and installation helped us discover how to avoid breaking another. There’s a plastic tab that clicks it in place and slamming the screen on and off must have broken the original.

I bought this slide together with the dryer grid WED1X25914 and they both fit my dryer GE model GUD24ESSMWW.

I finally have a working dryer now.

A snug fit so a little struggle to get it in. However it is the perfect fit so it’s normal for it to be a little bit of a struggle.
