Bayit Cam Pro Full HD1080P WiFi/IP Camera Wireless Pan/Tilt with Two-Way Audio Night Vision and Push Notifications, View from Anywhere with The Bayit Cam App

I just received a BH1826 camera and have it set up. I purchased the camera because it was advertised as having "push notifications" capability, but no where in the install guide are there instructions for the advanced settings, push notifications, sd card recording or recording access, or any other capability. Is there a users manual somewhere or further instructions available?

I loved this product. Easy setup and crystal clear video, the audio needs a little work. I wish there was a desktop application for it. But other than that it is a great product and fills a niche market where one does not have to spend a lot of money on more expensive cameras.

Total piece of junk. Extremely difficult to get it to set up with your phone. As soon as you try to set it up a warning pops up about security issues and you have to download google chrome browser and go through all kinds of Hell trying to get all that done and have wasted three hours trying to make this POS work. I think I threw away the box so I guess I am stuck with it. Avoid at all costs.

The camera is very easy to set up and has a great picture, however, its on-line functionality is concerning. Although it functions well when run wirelessly from my iPhone when I'm at home, it is so slow when I depend on other wifi when I try to operate it remotely that it's almost useless.

I bought this so I can keep an eye on things when I'm not home. So far, it works great for that. It does have optical zoom, in small screen or full screen mode, just use two fingers placed on the screen where the video displays and spread your fingers apart to zoom in, then pinch them to zoom out. I don't recommend using it though, I think it screwed up my picture quality, but I discovered something to fix that. I discovered it seems to have what I consider to be a manual focus capability to it. Point your camera at a fixed object and view it through your phone, now rotate the knurled protruding circle piece around the camera lens left and right. You should notice the picture get worse/better as you turn it. Just keep turning it left and right till the picture gets the clearest you can get it, it will take several tries left and right to get it right. I only discovered this after using the optical zoom and noticed it seemed to have screwed up my picture quality, I was able to fix it by doing the manual focus thing I figured out. Not sure if it's meant for that, but it works. The WiFi range isn't the greatest, you may need to buy a better antenna to use the WiFi more than 15-20'. Where I currently have it, I can just use it "wired". I have a 10 dBi antenna on order to try out to see if it helps the range. As for the 2 way sound, you can hear fine through it's microphone, but when you talk through the phone through its speakers, it's not very loud, you may need to put external speakers on it for people in the room to hear you. The alerts work pretty good, you just set the motion sensitivity and it will record a short 10-20 sec video that stores to the Micro SD card. The 4 presets are a nice option too, just set the camera to the desired position and save it as a preset, press the preset and the camera will automatically move to it. Setup wasn't very difficult. Overall, a great deal for the $79.99 I paid for it.

Good camera. I like how you can use them with any device connected to wifi . However, the audio does not work well for us.

Nice clear video. I can see my cat at work and I did try talking to him thru it but he gets confused thinking I am home so I stopped doing that. The motion detection seems very sensitive even on the low and medium settings and keeps sending alerts to my phone when I can't see what is causing the motion that is triggering it. I purchased the 64gb mini card and put it to "full time" recording. When you download the video it put it into 10 minute clips for the day. The night vision is clear, crisp and fluid, not choppy. The day video is clear and fluid as well.

We bought 1 of these one time and then went back and bought 3 more. They worked fine the first few months, until we had to change our router and reset our wifi network credentials. Once we did that and we tried to go back and set it up again and again and again and yet again, it never worked! We can get it online if we connect it by wire but the wired location is not where the camera has to stay, so when we try to move it to it's intended spot, it disconnects and never connects again. We have tried wired and wireless... multiple times.. reset to factory settings .. multiple times. At this point I am just ready to give them to whoever will take them, because they are just glorified paperweights.
