This was a replacement for a copy I've owned for years and years [m/l when it was first published]. Am delighted that it was still available as this book has followed me through a number of countries--with great dishes from my home state.

I just received a copy of Gourmet of the Delta. I am officially in love with it. I collect vintage southern cookbooks, but this is the best (by a mile) among a collection of outstanding pieces in my collection. Everyone who likes to cook (even if only every now and then) but who doesn’t want either to cook a variation of the same boring recipes OR serve something pretentious and unrecognizable (though that’s good sometimes too) must own a copy.

Was given this cookbook and I love it!
