I though after reading the first few chapers i had made a mistake buying this book because it had repetitive information from other sources, but half way through the book it has things i didn't know, i felt the price was high for the information of 50 or so pages i didnt know.

This book is absolutely amazing!!! It describes everything very precisely! It starts at the fundamental side of swirling flow and builds up to very informative discussions of both reacting and non-reacting, swirling flows. The author discusses both experimental and theoretical techniques encompassing a wide range of applications. The discussions on swirl flows in combustion is particularly interesting due to the emphasis on flame-stabilization techniques, characterization, and treatment of combustion instability. This is an absolute must for anyone seeking an in-depth look at the phenomenon of swirling flows. This book definitely deserves more than 5 stars!!!!!
