I have been searching for a high quality bedspread that had the color scheme I needed and this checked all the boxes! The pictures do not do it justice! It's all in the details! The scalloped edges, the ZIPPERED shams, the stitching, border trim, REVERSIBLE, AND not a pieced quilt but looks like one!I really wanted a quilt since I have a rustic home, but was afraid the dog would ruin it and it would come apart at the seams. No need to worry with this one. It has a hefty weight to it that you'd expect from a high quality piece but it isn't bulky. Its super soft!We have vaulted ceilings so our house gets hot in the winter and summer but this is still comfy and we don't get overheated.I did end up getting a king size for my queen sized raised bed as I prefer this to hang alot over the edge of the bed so my hubby and I have more than enough to cover with when moving around during the night. I prefer the standard sized shams that came with this set so they aren't too big! My bed sits high. Its 24 inches from the top of the mattress to the frame.I would give this 10 stars if I could! Worth every penny!!!!

I was a little dissapointed that this was not a patch work quilt, for the price paid. I saw an identical Donna Sharp quilt in an amish furniture store that was patch worked. This one is all one piece, however the quality is excellent and color scheme is beautiful, includng the shams. This will last a long time. Its a little heavier weight so it will be used during the cooler seasons.

The border was much darker than it looked online, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I was worried about it looking cheap since it wasn't pieced but the complicated quilting (stitching) masks it and adds to it beautifully. It is plenty long enough on our king, tall mattress with the skirt. It covers the edge of the skirt. I may spring for a new skirt, maybe in a gold. It is very rich and warm looking, exactly what I needed this white, cold winter!

This is an attractive set; the colors are bold and vivid. I knew this was just a stamped print and didn’t expect it to look like a real quilt. However, I didn’t expect purple dye to have bled on the gold squares.
