Colour Name:Dark Rich Mahogany  |  Size Name:250 ml Tin Product Description Tinted nitrocellulose lacquer is coloured but see-through, so the grain shows through from underneath. It can be layered and mixed, and is great for creating a sunburst finish or for bringing out the spectacular figure in woods such as quilted and flamed maple. Tinted lacquer is a base coat which needs to be sealed in with a suitable clear top coat.Ours is the highest quality nitro' lacquer, which we have researched, tweaked and tested extensively before offering for sale. It gives an excellent thin finish as found on many vintage guitars and is great for use on restorations, acoustic guitars, vintage tribute guitar builds and more. Safety Warning Use only in a well ventilated area. Wear a suitable organic vapour filtered facemask. Wear eye and skin protection. Do not breathe vapour. In case of contact wash immediately with soapy water. If symptoms persist seek medical advice. Repeated and prolonged exposure can cause respiratory problems. Harmful to the unborn child. Flammable. Dartfords tinted lacquer
First class tinted lacquer, the more you spray the darker it gets, but very gradually and very easy to use. Recommended product, sprays evenly and consistently, used this on my Ukulele, then on a strat type guitar, with excellent results. Would use it again without hesitation. Overall great product.

Nice results, very good quality.
Very nice results! It's a quality product, I wanted a not too deep amber colour and so I had to be very careful not to use a lot, a few coats and I'm happy with the results.

Great Paint!
This Lacquer is SUPERB!The Colour is exactly what I wanted!I applied it to the most difficult wood imaginable, (Chinese Ash), and it laid down evenly and dried beautifully!I have never sprayed nitro-cellulose lacquer before, so I had to waste some to "suss" it out,but now I've got a great finish!I will buy Dartforts Lacquer again & again!!.

Good in parts
Very good service but having bought purple and cobalt blue lacquer have found these to be virtually solid colours No good for sunburst effect but ok for spraying Mondeo wing ., not quite as advertised ,Some are tinted lacquer some not despite what they say/ Expensive mistake

RF Nitrocellulose Guitar Lacquer Probably the best.
I have used RF Nitrocellulose guitar lacquer in the past, it is probably the best lacquer for guitars that I have ever found. Drying time outdoors is very fast between light coats. I recommend this product 100%.

Spraytastic
Good coverage - nice shade. A couple of small spits at first. You really do need to warm this and shake it well before use.
