Define Your Value

Quick answer; not good....at all.Definitely a one star at best.Cover, art is completely ridiculous. I was almost embarrassed to read it in public, and I’m sure it’s in some way in violation of copyright infringement. The style of the book feels like a high school student wrote it. It’s seem very disjointed and journal like. The vocabulary used in this book elementary and should have been touched up by the editor. The overall Content in this book seem best suited for a blog or twitter post. In many ways, it almost felt like the author had to fill in lines and began to throw random “positive” concepts to make it fit. this method however, confuses the reader as to the direction and the lesson to be gained. I would like to note that book did not make me feel better just because the word “positive” was used; overall direction was simply unclear. After reading I have no true point of reference as to if this Author’s purpose of the book, nor was any directions layed out. I get the whole “open to interpretation” thing but it just felt like someone trying to brag, but instead you really just felt bad for the guy. Overall the author had some good points to bring up i.e a collection of great sayings and reference speeches sprinkled in with some unoriginal “pro black” concepts. I must say the book was hollow and I was looking forward to finishing it (though hard due to its randomness) more than anything. I’m not sure if I feel like this was a success story with an ode to a man’s perseverance, or a cry for help. I can only hope the author (a classic Narcissist) will take this review and actually apply it for a better more complete follow up.

Great read for anyone to needing to know that they can achieve anything they want! Love the real feel to this book. Unique!
