The pictures and listing clearly state that the items are 10.6 ounces and they’re actually 6.7 ounces. That’s a 58% difference. That’s ridiculous.

I have been buying these for two years as we live very close to ocean so deal with a lot of dampness. They do not replace a dehumidifier which I finally bought to use when we are not home but use these still in every closet and many drawers and they all together work well. It is shocking how much moisture they absorb. In addition to these, I also use those that hang in closets. I have to replace about 18 of them two or three times per year, generally twice.

I gave it five stars because it works for me. I placed it in my basement. It's size is about 400ft. It is a dry basement but sometimes it smells. When I placed it down there the humidity was 75 degrees. I checked it next day morning it went up to 81 degrees. Three nights after I went back down and checked it up, it went down to 67. So it works, no more damp and musty smells in basement. I don't to spend hundreds of dollars for a dehumidifier and plus to pay the electric bills.

It's a weird product to love. But once I moved into a 1940s apartment with a few unusual smells and a bit of moisture from a/c units, I began to search for a product that could sit in my closets to handle BOTH smell and humidity. The search was long, but I found this listing and struck gold."Installation" is crazy simple. Take off the metallic liner, pop the top back on and you are good to go. The tub will fill up with the excess water in the air but there is no concern of it leaking/spilling/damaging anything in the closet. I'm pretty sure I could turn it upside down and noting would happen. On the odor side, I popped it in to the closet and within the first few days, the smell was gone with no added fragrance!Will definately repurchase, but now I just have l wait for them to be used up.

The product is good however it was to be a 10oz product as shown in the picture. But when received it was 8oz. Could not return at it was considered a chemical. However there is no problem shipping the item to me.

I use them in my closet off the bathroom. It helps to control odor coming from the dirty laundry hamper. I liked that this didn't have any fragrance as most of these type of things do have a scent. Over time it starts filling with water so it is also trapping some humidity.

I especially like that I can't spill these. The other products run the risk of tipping over and getting everywhere. These are much better. I have also noticed the humidity down in the areas where these are located.

This small container catches and saves the moisture in my closet which is on the north side of the house.
