Great complete Kit... so simple, saved $$.
My 22 yr old Sub Zero 650 S showed a temperature of 59 degrees after returning from a trip. I took down the grate and noticed the fan wasn't turning. I gave it a spin and it would lethargically spin, and keep spinning but never start again it the condenser toggled it off. I called my long time Sub Zero repair outfit and they could come for 9 days. I left a table top fan on a ladder sitting infront of the refrigerator and kept everything cool. My wife didn't really find that too convenient and today is our 27 wedding anniversary, so I have experience knowing what I had to do. 9 days wasn't going to cut it.I ordered this kit it, it came in 36 hours and I preceeded to swap out the motor. It has a great replacement of all the hardware, a new fan, wire nuts, plastic and ceramic, ground wires, and rubber gaskets.Unlike other reviewers issues, the new oversized fan fits in the 650 shroud with no problem. I put it all together and all was super cool. Like others, I did find it a bit louder than before, so I popped it back out and reattached the old fan. The noise volume lowered to a completely satisfactory level.I am surprised that the fan pulls air across the radiator and into the condensor box instead of blowing out across the radiator fins for maximum cooling. Is that what everyone else is getting?I am pleasantly going to call and cancel what would have been a 500.00 repair here in Los Angeles.I appreciate the kit, fast ship, and forum reveiew that help make these jobs easier. It's "all cool" with the wife. Pushing on for another 25 years.

Works perfectly.
Works perfectly in our 20 year old Sub Zero 650. Hard to tell if it’s any louder given our old one was likely falling for some time. Great price versus the $1k I was looking at for service call and parts from Sub Zero.

Made in china
Works well, but it is NOT made in USA. It is made in China. Dissapointing.

Good fit for Sub-Zero 648 PRO
Supplied unit is a good replacement for the OEM fan motor. I did not have luck swapping the OEM fan blades for the supplied ones, as others recommended, but I also did not have a fit issue. Plus, I purchased the unit used with a broken fan, so I do not know what the original would have sounded like in a comparable setup. It's certainly a lot quieter than the broken fan was! This replacement seems absolutely fine in terms of sound level. Yes, you can hear when the fan turns on. You also have a space-ship fridge in your kitchen, so hearing it sometimes seems within the range of normal. You will need a quarter-inch SAE socket to get the old bolts out. Also note that this kit did not supply the same quick connect connectors that Sub-Zero uses (as another reviewer showed receiving in 2021), so to get it up and running I had to cut off the old one from the fan and wire this into that, then clip it in. It works, but I'm not a fan of having the extra connection, so I'm on the hunt for a proper connection.

Works for Subzero 650/F2; Install fan blades correct direction!
The motor shaft is shorter than in the original, so I wasn't able to use the original plastic fan. I used the metal fan included in the kit, but it was loud. I uninstalled and reinstalled. The second time I noticed the asymmetry of the blades and the "motor side" note on the original fan. The steeply angled side of the blades should be closer to the motor and the flatter side of the blades should be farther from the motor. With the fan installed that way, the noise is gone. (We can still hear the fan, but it is comparable to the original.)

Wrong Fan. No Instructions. Hardware packet could be better
Bought this for my old Sub-Zero 511 fridge/freezer. My big complaints are:1. The fan isn't correct at all. The plastic OEM fan is much thicker. Using the provided fan would require moving the bracket up approximately 1/2" if not more.2. There's no instructions outside telling you to strip off the wires and use ceramic nuts. No mention of fan polarity. You get a bag full of hardware but no indication of the application. I get this is designed for pros and not DIYers (I actually called Supco and that's what they said) but a little bit of labeling or a one page write up would be nice.3. I found the ceramic wire nuts pretty crummy. I had to over strip the wires and fold them over so that they'd grab. It would have also been nice to see the rubber spacer/washers for the mounting bracket. You're talking about a replacement part for pretty old fridges. Any rubber is more than dried out. It would make sense to include those 4 items so that the install could go smoother.Overall, I got the job done, but the fan not fitting drops this down to 3 stars and 2 stars for the lack of instructions and mediocre hardware.

My sub-zero fridge is like brand new again!
Had noticed my fridge wasn't cooling at all so I checked the condenser fan and noticed it was not spinning. Gave it a light tap and it would start spinning, cooling the fridge. However, once the fan would stop after the fridge reached proper temperature, the fan would never spin on its own again. I had to keep tapping the fan slightly just to get it to spin again. Did some research and found out if this occurs, you should replace the fan motor. Bought this item and installed it and it worked like a charm. The fridge is working like new again and is colder than ever! One thing to note, the fan blade that came with this package was gigantic compared to the one my fridge uses, so make sure to save the original fan blade to use instead if necessary - just clean it first and install as normal. It's the motor that you are replacing anyway, so your old blades will work fine if the new blades are too big.
