Great set, this was the second set I purchased to give as gift and its well worth it. Bet knives ever.

They were great deal and yes I got what I paid for but remember they are not henckles German made they are the lesser of henckles knives but do their job and if you keep them sharpened they are great I do love the scissors and am not unhappy but know if henckles German are what you are wanting these are not for you.

I chose this set because somehow other options out there involves more than 1 bread knife and less variety of other knives for some reason and I don’t eat bread. Also I know that this brand is a sister brand of Zwilling which my dad is a fan of so I’m pretty sure of the quality and the sharpness. When I say I wish there was a manual was because 1. I’m not a chef. Nor did I take up any culinary class, so I wish there’s at least a pamphlet in the set to identify which knife does what or what people actually use them for before I use everything randomly, which also works, but I’d like to use them correctly since I bought a decent set. And yes I know I can google it. Just saying would be nice if it comes with one. 2. I wish there was a direction for the block for which knife belongs to which hole. I am pretty sure that usually the blocks would have different depths and the knives come with different lengths. So it would be great to have that indication before I mess up the tip. All in all, it is a really nice set. It is sharp as the other reviews mentioned in their videos. Do handle with care and don’t cut yourself when you’re unpacking them. Knife is sharp.

One steak knife was bent on the very tip. Like maybe it had been dropped and hit right on the pointed tip. The point is very sharp. All other knives were great and shipping was awesome.

It was past time for new knives. My old set Revereware was way over a dozen years old. One of the handles had broken years ago. One of the best parts of these is the full length of the blade running from tip to end of the handles ( full tang ). The blades of my old ones of went about a half inch into the handles. The blades are about the same thickness. Overall these Henckel's knives are much nicer. I especially like getting the carving knife. I have used that a lot over the years. Both of the scissors are China made. All the Henckels knives say made in India. The Revere knives all say China. I washed them all up. They all shine really nice and the handles are comfortable. I'm happy with them.

Awful. Not the Henkels Quality I expected. I replaced an old no name brand set and wished I had kept them. These are cheap and the back of the lad is equally as sharp. These “point” on the steak knives is dangerous and has gotten “stuck” in things. The fudge of steel is thin and they are very wobbly and in steady. I do t feel safe using them and will donate these since the return window was barely a month. Find another set and don’t waste your time. I thought this would be an average set for an everyday cook. I do t need the fanciest but I do need knives that are not “flimsy” and over flexible. Not looking for Cutco or Wustof grade but shoukd have put the lines towards a different brand. Wish I could return these and give a ZERO STAR.

Very attractive storage. Good assortment of knives. The knives are a little light in weight but cut well. Good value for the money.

So I naively thought that although made in India and China, a Henckels knife set would be of good quality - the answer is "absolutely not". The knives are all thin and flimsy - they look and feel cheap. In this product, I feel, Henckels have managed to take a historically legendary brand and destroy this in my eyes in on product and I have to honestly say that my Ikea knives are far superior. It was a terrible buy - learn from my mistake.
