I've always wanted one 15 in the trunk and boy was that the perfect choice for me!
OMG. I have never before threw my hat into the 15" subwoofer game. Boy am I glad my first time doing it I went with this triple stack 220oz magnet 1200/2400 watt 4ohm 15 inch sub!!! WOW! Was I floored when I got this thing warmed up and turned the gain up. The reason I bought this Audiopipe subwoofer was because the sub package Rockville setup(sub, amp, box, and 4ga wire kit) I bought blew the subwoofer that came with it on week 3 of ownership. With a whopping 60 oz magnet on the back I shouldn't have been surprised. Well kids hold on to your hats they might just get blown off with those kind of decibel levels from Rockville co. Hahaha! So the day I received the 15in Audiopipe subwoofer I went to pick the Box up off of porch and set it on a bench and about threw my back out LOL! I had no idea how heavy that thing was going to be. But seeing as the bigger the motor or magnet the larger the wattage I was very very happy to feel that. So over the next two days I installed it into the previous Rockville box however when I went to place it inside the Box thinking every 15 inch subwoofers the same size I was very very wrong. Unfortunately every subwoofer varies in mounting size. The outside face of the subwoofers may all be 15-inchs but the inside mounting surface did not match the Rockville box hence why I spent two days installing it. Most of the time I spent standing and slowly removing enough material so it would be even around the mounting surface with sandpaper until I could fit the Audiopipe sub into that boxes hole. Finally after hours of carpal tunnel inducing labor I managed to sand it out for a flush fit. Once I got the sub wired up to 2 Ohms I had to lift it by myself into the box in the trunk another long story but anyways the box doesn't come out of the trunk. That right there was a nightmare. I put it through a minor break-in procedure adjusted the levels and filters and gain to satisfactory levels broke it in. 2 weeks later I adjusted the level up including the gain and oh my f#โฌ&in God was that thing amazingly loud! It hit every single note of every single one of my favorite rap songs I could find a play through it. My friend who's had 15s for years was right they play some of the crazy lowest notes you'll ever hear. That thing can be heard from 12 to 20 blocks away it's so loud and it's underpowered for its rating! I'm running it on a Rockville DB 12 2000 watt class D monoblock. It still needs another 200-400 watts to be at the RMS level it's suppose to let alone max out. I cannot wait to get a bigger ant for it. As for the Rockville setup the best thing that came with that system was the base level adjustment knob that installs in the driver's compartment of your car to turn the bass up and down. It's my girlfriend's favorite part of my whole stereo system LMFAO! I think if I didn't have it I wouldn't have a girlfriend right now. But at least I'd still have that sweet 15-inch in subwoofer blasting my tunes.

Sub is VERY bad ass. Broke in nicely
Sub is VERY bad ass. Broke in nicely. Moves a shit load with "Bass I love - bass boosted" Incredible sub for an amazing price. But I actually just got a 16" HCCA Orion 2500w RMS 5000 watt max sub. That thing hits lows like you wouldn't fuhking believe. Well worth the $460 spent on it. But this thing is great too. I only want to try to return it because I just don't have use for it anymore, now that I got a Orion. Would HIGHLY suggest for a budget build with big bass, high, mid and low. (This sub hits lows pretty good too.)

These subwoofers are worth every penny. The fact that you can get that much Rms for 185$ is amazing. I have two of them and I am running them on a 3200 watt hifonics Zeus amp. I only have it on half way and I pull shaking peoples apartments.

BLEW SUB IN TWO DAYS. Cheaply made get what you pay for
Literally installed it 2 days ago and the coils are toasted. Gain was turned up only halfway with the bass boost all the way down. Ill never buy another audiopipe product. Waste of $180. Id rather pay more and have a reliable Sundown audio sub.
