the quality 👌 love the sound yamaha did a good job with this mixer... I had to return a different brand that I got from Amazon I was very cheap and the sound coming out from the mixer was ugly I got this yamaha mixer whay better simple and powerful recommended

Excellent mixer

Great value, sound quality and compatibility. Have this plugged into a lap top and wired Shure microphones. Also two large speakers. Sound quality for karaoke is excellent. Received compliments for well arranged karaoke sessions. If you need to connect more, then a bigger mixer with more inputs is needed.

Having used other audio mixer brands, Yamaha was the best tbat lasted. Easy to adjust sounds knobs, easy interface (used youtube). Pro - Used this in a hot yoga studio, has not broken down but would recommend a fan flowing to keep it cool. Channels work very independently and very accurate in sound setting. Bought this in 2024 so its been a year. Con: The DI or the feedback sound (pending on speaker type jack, in my case rca), had to buy DI box to lower the feedback sound. Grade and sturdiness is way beyond other mixers. @Yamaha - if you can build a mixer that can lower the amount of feedback dull noise, would appreciate it.

I use it to hook up a scratch portable turntable and a phone to play beats. A simple product that works well with other simple parts without any major downsides since 'simplicity' and 'budget' are present although growth and development is filling passion for the craft.

I did not keep it. Absolutely nothing wrong with the unit. I’m sure Yamaha fans love it as they should. Here’s the thing. I had the opportunity to hook up a mackie profx10v3+ and the sound that mixer had blew me away. I was expecting the same or better from the Yamaha but it didn’t really wow me. I understand they are very different mixers and I’m not putting the mg06 down. It’s awesome. I just want the sound that mackie made.

Very pleased with this quality built compact mixer for $100. For the electronically challenged this unit allows you to send multiple audio sources to one amp, all sounds will emanate from your speakers. It is not an amplifier. I am using it to host NYE party Karaoke. Enough controls to make a difference and get better sound without complicating everything. Your microphone(s) plug into this unit and your music source plugs into this unit both go to your amp then out your speakers. You can buy complete Karaoke players, you could argue this unit makes things more complicated than it needs to be. The sound I am getting from 2 x $80 speakers, $270 amp & this $100 mixer is worth it. Plenty of power makes everything more fun for the guests and you. Be aware of the plugs & sockets. My speakers only use Speakon connectors (mandatory in Europe). 1/4" sockets on the mixer for the microphones, no RCA's, has XLR's. This is a great Mixer.

Another excellent piece of equipment from Yamaha. I kind of wish now I had bought the upgraded version with effects.

This is basically a good sound sources mixer. I feel only Echo should be added for first two or four inputs. Next level model is having sound effects and higher level model is having connectivity with computer/ laptop.

How ever it took much time then expected. But it is one of the tiny piece of art from Yamaha. I will be using it for a mini church installation and this fits perfectly for the purpose. Moreover there are no faders only knobs that will keep this away from dust and requirement of replacing of faders in times to come. Only thing it is pricy 8k for this tiny size. I bought one 12 channel soundcraft for another similar usage and that costs me around 18k. The price could be better less around 6 k for the Yamaha tiny piece of art.

J’ai même pas de datasheet et le pire on me file mauvais câble j’ai faillit flinguer la machine ce qui veut dire que le proprio anglais n’a même pas vérifié la compatibilité Le Yamaha MG16 utilise une alimentation externe spécifique (modèle PA-30), qui est conçue pour fournir la tension et l'ampérage appropriés à la console de mixage. , hors j’ai un type c13 qui n’est pas utile même chez les anglais. Alors svp quand vous envoyez vos équipements vérifier attentivement si tout correspond, il me reste pas beaucoup de temps je doit faire avec . C’est pas cool de votre part.
