Mr.Power Reverse Polarity Converter Cable 5.5 X 2.1 for Keyboard Guitar Effect Pedal (2 pcs)

Needed this for a Casio keyboard, bought in a thrift shop with no power cord. I have lots of 'em with the right voltage, but Casio uses a nonstandard polarity (presumably to make us buy their proprietary power cord). This adapter changed my standard polarity cord to fit their keyboard. Worked great and saved me $20!

I bought a tape recorder that didn't come with external power, and the one I had fit just fine, but still didn't work because polarity was backwards. Thus: this perfect little device swaps tip to ring within the barrel connector, and seamlessly lets me proceed with using the same power device for multiple units. EXCELLENT; SIMPLE; PERFECT solution!

Worked great with Panasonic convertible cameras

So far so good. So far I feel its slightly longer than I personally would prefer, if I bend over to do something, it often slips under my boot and when i stand up it gets caught. the solution to then is a smaller carabiner on my center back loop and that takes up the slack. The carabiner is durable and it seems of good quality.

Converts either direction of polarity.

Used this to adapt a standard guitar pedal power supply to work with a KAT drum pad that has a positive center pin connection. Simple and inexpensive fix to replace old PS that died. Easier and cleaner than rewiring the pedal supply connector.

Don't know who decided this, but many musical accessories and most Guitar effects devices usually require power supplies with connectors where the pin in the center of the connector has negative voltage. This is opposite to standard DC power supplies which deliver positive voltage to the pin. Get it wrong and the device may get cooked. I use these polarity reversing cables so I can use rechargeable battery packs to power pedals and other effects. I put bright colored tape on them as a warning. I forgot the reverser was still in line when recharging one of the battery packs and literally smoked it.

I bought a used non-working Arion Stereo Analog Delay pedal on Ebay for almost nothing. The seller said it would just make a buzzing noise. I knew from experience that those pedals had a reverse polarity input and would just make a buzzing noise if the polarity of the power cable was wrong. This converter cable did the trick.

Works great ...finally can power my tonex pedal from my power bank via USB and a USB C to DC adaptor cable. You need this converter cable to make it work, just the USB to DC cable won't cut it. Guitar pedals are center pin negative. Solid connection and great quality cable glad I got the 2 pack.

I sometimes film football matches, no problem when there is mains power but if not then I have to use the camera batteries. I also use a 9" monitor that comes with an in built battery that unfortunately never lasts the full 90 minutes or more. I recently found in my video gear a separate back up battery for an old monitor that was the right voltage so I tried it with my 9" monitor but it just didn't work, I knew it was charged up so just thought for some reason it was not compatible. I then thought perhaps the plug was the wrong polarity so I bought these thinking they probably wouldn't work and bingo the one the correct size did. Wish I had known about these before, absolutely brilliant.
