SINGER® M2100 Lightweight Compact Sewing Machine with Accessory Kit

This is the second one I've bought, one for my daughter and this one for my niece. They both love designing their own clothes. It's easy to use, lightweight, and doesn't take up much space.

The sewing machine is easy to thread even without instructions. I haven’t used my old machine because it was very heavy even if portable so gave it away and purchased new one. The size is easy to store in closet. I am happy with the results.

This simple sewing machine is easy to set up and use, though I had to find a YouTube video to demonstrate how to insert the vertical bobbin. Every sewing machine I’ve ever used has a bobbin tray directly under the needle foot, but this one requires opening up the front of the machine to install. There is no instruction booklet, just a sheet with drawings. I gifted this to my granddaughter for Christmas, and we had lots of fun sewing scraps of fabric and trying out all the features.

This machine is perfect for all your sewing needs. I have used mine several times since I purchased it. I am in the process of teaching my granddaughter how to sew simple projects. She loves it! It’s very easy to use.

this machine works very well. Nothing fancy, just three stitch lengths, plain and zig zag. great for the price. Doesn't have a drop in bobbin but rather the old style i had on old Kenmore but it is workable. just can't see how much thread is left. no auto needle threader but I managed even with these old eyes. I bought this as a travel machine for workshops and it is light and portable while being sturdy. If I find I need more i would buy another.

It's portable and is to use and a great affordable product

I was initially happy with this machine, as it worked perfectly for the first six months. However, it soon developed issues: the thread started snapping, and the machine frequently jammed in the bobbin area. Luckily, it was still under warranty, so we sent it for repairs. The repair experience, unfortunately, was a nightmare. The technician kept the machine for over five months, citing a heavy workload whenever we called for updates. When we finally received it back, the door covering the bobbin was broken, so we had to tape it shut just to use it. After two days, it broke again. With the warranty now expired, we’re left with an unusable machine. Sending it back would likely mean another months-long wait with no guarantee of a lasting fix. At this point, I strongly recommend looking into other brands; we’ll be doing the same. This machine has been a disappointing investment in terms of both quality and customer support.

This machine is ideal for me. It's easy to use & ideal for people who want to alter their clothes. It comes with an instruction booklet but I also watched an instruction video on YouTube. I like it as it's lightweight yet durable. Totally satisfied with it.

Soy principiante y no se me hizo difícil usarla, de hecho te puedes apoyar con las instrucciones qué trae en físico o por Internet, la cual viene más detallada, y te enseña a hacer varias cosas. La verdad es mi primera máquina y me ha resultado muy muy buena, ya la he utilizado en varias ocasiones. Nada más que como recomendación las agujas qué regala en si el producto no se deben de utilizar para telas muy gruesas, ya que puede llegar a partirse la aguja o hasta lelgar a dañar la máquina. No digo que la máquina no cosa con telas gruesas, si no más bien es por la aguja, recomiendo que compren agujas de otros tamaños para poder utilizarla con otras telas sin problema, de hecho en las instrucciones salen las recomendaciones de agujas para cada tipo de tela, así que recomiendo mucho leer las instrucciones para no estar confundida. También recomiendo mucho que se apoyen con videos de YouTube, a veces nos complicamos más si solo leemos las instrucciones, entonces sería una gran herramienta. La máquina me llego rápido, si no mal recuerdo fueron 3 o 4 días después de haber hecho la compra.

Easy to use product. Got all the instructions online and YouTube video instructions for a newbie. As this is a new product, had some grease on the 🧵 bobbin thread. I opened and cleaned with a clothe around the bobbin area. After a few yards of stitching on a rough/old clothe, the thread was clean. My daughter is happily using for last couple of weeks during her school holidays. She has already saved money mending so many dresses. Worth an investment for every house. Thanks to the internet and YouTube, she is learning so much and trying it on her new toy - Singer M2100.

Llegó en excelente condición, en la fecha establecida. Su uso es intuitivo, si sigues las instrucciones para enhebrar el hilo , así como para rellenar el carrete no tienes problemas. Las puntadas que tiene son suficientes para mí. Todo lo demás depende de tu creatividad 😉. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque solo lleva 1 semana conmigo, veremos más adelante.
