Perfect part, perfect fit
I had already damaged one gear set with my new more powerful engine. My mechanic mentor told me to only get Ford Racing gear sets as they were hardened after the fit and they held up longer. So far I am very pleased with them. They are not as quite as I would like but not loud either. May be more of an install issue but I doubt it.

OEM Ford quality-worked out perfect.
Installed in my pickup to change ratios. Worked fine, runs perfectly quiet, no howling or rumbling at any speed. No funky mesh patterns or "moving target" shimming.

the best gears tou can have on a twin turbo 03 cobra with the T56 transmission. street or strip. i tried 3.27s, 3.31s and 3.73s. no comparrison.

Ford Racing Parts are the only way to go
Make sure to file the burrs off of any rough edges. Otherwise a nice part, everything went together well and reusing the old pinion shim got me to the right depth. Used in my 8.8 IRS to rebuild it.
