Seem good. For people with alignment issues. The *handle* area material causes all the spring tension, cutting action, and blade alignment. If you carefully manipulate the area correctly you can fix any issues. This is one of the advantages of this type of one piece scissors.

I've been using these for 7 months now and they are like a part of my hand.

Good sharp, well made scissors, great for cutting thread. The write-up on sizes is all wrong. The 8.25 inch scissors are more like 4.7 inches long overall. Ignore the inch listings and convert from millimeters. And the blade length is only about 1.75 inches, not 4.7 inches. This is for the larger size scissors.

I I love Japanese craftsmanship. The first scissors I ever used were hasami. I use them for crafts, sewing, trimming rough edges. They are quick, sharp, easy to use.

Disappointed in its size. Thought that the blade would be much larger. The size is not appropriate for the task I had in mind.

The steel seems to be good quality and they're sharp enough, but the blades on the pair I received did not come even close to meeting. I had to wrap some leather around the handle end to keep the blades closer together so they didn't wind up on the wrong side of each other every time I tried to cut with them.

Excellent scissors for their intended purpose. Easier to use and faster than western scissors.
