This cable did it. From 100Mbs to 1000Mbs (1.0Gbs) negotiated speed.
Last week I had Google fiber internet installed.But, my PC was still only negotiating 100Mbs speed.I tried a reboot -> no increase.I tried forcing the speed to 1Gbs along with a reboot -> no longer connected.I figured the 12 yo motherboads nics were probably only 100Mbs..So, I checked the specs on the motherboard. Both nics were supposedto be 1.0Gbs!I figured I better get a new network cable that was definitely rated forat least 1.0Gbs before resorting to buying an add-in ethernet card.Even though it probably wouldn't make a difference, I had to rule it out.This cable did it. From 100Mbs to 1000Mbs (1.0Gbs) negotiated speed.

Makes a BIG difference in speed and signal quality.
I have 1 gb fiber internet. Wasn't getting max speeds from modem/router to my hard wired computer. Switched to this cable and WHAM, tremendous jump in speed and signal quality. Don't believe anyone who says that ethernet cables are all the same. 'Cause they definitely are NOT!
