It simply works.
On my first attempt, I lost the clip within the Kuerig. After digging it out I took the time to disconnect tank, unplug and flip it upside down and grab a couple of small screwdrivers.I put the larger side in first, aligned the second side to the edge of the hole and put pressure on that area with the screwdriver and simultaneously put pressure on the clip and it locked it.Ran the machine for about 7 cups so far, authorized kcups and non authorized kcups.Product works like a charm, well worth the 4 dollars in my opinion.I will keep an eye on it to see if it warps but I really cannot see that happening. It's not even slightly warm when I'm finished with a cup. This is going to save me a lot.Plus I bought the Kuerig in a garage sale never used for 5 dollars! I love saving money!

Broke trying to install as they said to. Plus doesn't work.
Tried to install the product like was shown on the little paper they sent, and it would not clip. One side of it broke after a few attempts. Then decided to tape it since it broke. Still didn't buypass/do what it should for my brewer.

Clip works as described with no issues whatsoever
Not sure what “thickness” in the ratings has to do with this product. This sort of unrelated ratings description happens often on Amazon reviews. Why?This clip works as expected, was easy to install, and is working fine after about a month of use. I pulled it to see if there was any degradation. There was none. I fail to understand those who give this clip low marks for longevity. Not much can go wrong with this clip which is of course meant to trick the Keurig sensor into think you bought their licensed K-cups. A battle that, predictably, Keurig lost in court.

Doesn't Work
The only reason this device isn't rated zero is that the option isn't available. This clip consists of a single piece of semi-rigid precision molded purple plastic. It comes with directions that are easy to understand. Installation is a bit tricky, but not all that difficult. The problem is that once installed, my Keurig 2.0 coffee maker ceased to operate even with pods licensed by Keurig. When the clip was removed, the coffee maker function returned. Looking at it, perhaps something was missing: a bit of paint, reflective tape, or something, that would fool the Keurig optical sensor into sensing that a licensed pod was installed. Whatever is needed, this clip doesn't have it. Save your money.

The best part is that it works! I was very skeptical when I first saw it.
I bought a lot of Franciso Hazelnut flavored K-cups because I love the flavor of these more than any I've had before. They are more expensive than most. All of a sudden, my Keurig 2.0 brewer rejected them. I got a message that they would not work when I tried, and I tried all of them. We received the clip, installed it, and we have never had any trouble since. It was pretty difficult to understand how to install it, but we figured it out, and are very happy with it.

Works but with caveats.
These clip work as advertised. However, after repeatedly opening and closing the keurig, these clips would slide forward from the lid. When this happens, the clip would get crushed and deformed when you close the keurig machine. I had to buy a second clip to replace the first one I received. Eventually, I ended up using command strips and tapping the clips in position.Pro:Works great as advertised.Con:Clip slides and gets crushed. Use command stripes to tape it in position.

WORKS
Could be thinner as it is tight on some refillable pods. they are slightly thicker than store pods and don't compress!

DOES NOT WORK ON KEURIG 2.0 MODEL K400
DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE A K400 keurig...it doesn't work!! For some reason, after almost 2 years of using off-brand k cups, that same off brand will no longer brew so I bought this because it said that it works in EVERY 2.0 Keurig. Well, it doesn't work in mine, which is a K400 series. I was extremely disappointed, but this product was only $5 so it's not even worth returning. I saw that someone else posted that it didn't work on their K400, but I didn't see that post until after I received and tried this for myself.
