Incredibly small, easy to install.
I wanted a radio that would provide streaming radio capability in my old truck. This radio is incredibly small and light. Easy to wire and the wiring diagram was easy to understand. Installation was a little challenging because the DIN mounting bracket was designed for the radio to slide all the way in. My Ford truck had a plastic trim that was designed to fit between the radio faceplate and the DIN mounting bracket which prevented the radio from snapping-in to the bracket. This radio does not have a removable trim ring around the front face (what you see in the Amazon ad is the way the radio slides-in. The size and weight of this radio is impressive, no rear mounting support bracket is required (even though Jensen did provide a screw hole in the rear heat sink). The audio power (volume) is adequate, not quite as loud as my other radios (also rated 200W), but close. The tone controls do not provide any graphic equalizer, only BASS, TREBLE and Loudness, but the radio does produce a decent sound for an inexpensive radio. The Bluetooth paired easily but I had to turn the volume in my iPhone to max to get decent volume on the radio. The controls feel quality and have detent click (even the volume knob).Jensen paperwork says the warranty is 1-year (2-year if you register on-line). Amazon says the warranty is 2-year (3-year if you register on-line). I saved the Amazon ad with my warranty paperwork. On-line registration was easy and not very invasive (personal information). I do recommend you take a picture of the radio serial number before you install it (handy for on-line registration).

Very good product
I had it now for 6 months and it’s working great. Super easy to install (did it myself) sound and pairing is good. Volume is okay when paired but wish it could be a bit louder. All in all great product for its price.

Great radio for the money!
Great radio, easy install. Bluetooth connects and reconnect immediately. Good volume and sound quality. Only grip is that the time doesn't come up by default, have to press and hold the button.

Superb performance beyond its incredible price
The price is extremely attractive, and still this unit is remarkably well-designed. Clarity and volume are excellent even in a Gen2 (1999) Dodge Ram with ancient factory speakers. Bluetooth syncs immediately and automatically without fuss, and works perfectly so far. I keep a USB flash drive in the front USB port in case I want to play some good albums without touching my phone. Unlike other USB players I've used, this unit allows moving from file folder to folder with dedicated buttons, allows seeking through the position of a track, and displays the folder name and file name on the front display- all extremely nice features when you have hundreds of songs on a single drive. There is a mute button and the play/pause button works in both USB and bluetooth modes. There are no complex menus- front face buttons let you do practically everything including changing input modes with one touch, except adjusting sound levels and a few minor settings in a simple and effective menu. The knob has good steps in volume between notches- not too high that you can't get a good level, and not so low that you have to turn the knob a lot. FM and AM reception are excellent even with an aftermarket stubby whip antenna. The blue display is nonadjustable in color and brightness but I'm very happy with both as standard. Installation was done with soldering and shrink wrapping to an aftermarket harness- that was my choice; you can install different ways but the simple user manual told me everything about the wiring I needed to know. I would be extremely happy with this unit at twice the price or more, but as is, it has a rare mix of features, usability, good design, performance, and price. Unless you insist on some details like adjustable illumination color, prize high audio power without separate amplification, or are very picky with sound performance, you can't go wrong with this unit. Compared to using an FM transmitter (which is so close in price you may as well pony up for a head unit like this), you will likely consider this a substantial improvement over your factory radio. Some details from the box: power is 14W RMS/50W peak x 4 channels @ 4 ohms. Front USB port charges at 1A. There is a front 3.5mm headphone jack input and a stereo RCA preamp output on the back. Box says it plays MP3s (that is the only file format I tried) so I would guess if it also supported FLAC, AAC, etc it would say so. Happy hunting.
