Why are these $44.00 for one box? They’re usually less than $4 at the store. Cheese made of gold?

I paid $2.98 for the boxes I bought. I was wondering why the price went up so much but I don’t know.

How many boxes do you get with this order?

I ordered 2 boxes @ 2.98 per box.

Does it really contain liquid Gold?

It contains liquid Velveeta, not a powdery additive.

Why are these so expensive?

Excellent question! As a 3rd party seller, there are many expenses: Cost to buy the product from suppliers + cost to prepare the product for shipping + cost to ship product to Amazon warehouse + Amazon Storage fees + Amazon referral fees + Amazon Fulfillment fees + a little profit left over. We go through a lot of work and expense so that you can just go to your door to do your shopping. Thank you for your business!
