I love this set! I did a lot of research and this is one of the few adjustable sets that goes from 2.2 lbs. up to 11 lbs. each. It is easy to open and remove or add more of the little units. I started with just the one big middle one in each, which is 4.4 lbs. and will add more each week as I build up my muscles. Love the pink and gray, too, so it is easy to tell that this one is Mom's!

The weights were nice and a very cool shape but the first thing I noticed is that they were the wrong color. The second thing I noticed is the wrong color because the color I ordered didn’t come in the large size. I either ordered a small or accidentally ordered a large, but they’re way too big and heavy for me and I’m gonna need to return them but the quality is very good at the concept is different than others.

They are very comfortable to hold, and changing up the weight isn't too bad. I still wouldn't try to alternate weight amounts because that would double your workout time. But if you switch them out between series of circuits, it won't take too long.More details below -- specifically about the exact weight of the configurations.---- original review ---A great way to add more weights (I was looking for 6lb, 7lb, 8lb, 10lb) without spending a fortune.I haven't worked out with these yet, but will update when I do. When I strength-train, I use circuits of 2-3 different exercises, 3 times each. These wouldn't be convenient to swap weights within the same circuit, but they seem OK to swap when I'm changing circuits, if needed.The set comes with 2 hand weights, each consisting of the empty hand weight, 2 large blocks, and 16 small blocks. You typically add the weight blocks in pairs -- one on each end so that it's balanced, but I tested it and you can use an odd number of small weights without causing any problems. And you can include or exclude the large blocks. - but always use these in pairs.The weights as listed in the instructions are not correct. I knew the docs weren't accurate when it said that you add 6 small blocks to go from 6.6 lbs to 8.8 lbs but then you add 4 more small blocks to go from 8.8 lbs to 11 lbs (also an increase of 2.2 lbs)Here's the real deal - yes, I'm pedantic, so I actually weighed all the parts. Like discussed by other shoppers, the math behind the weights doesn't seem to add up (I don't have a scale, unfortunately, so I can't clarify what the true weights are). Despite that, the weights arrived in good condition, are easy to modify by screwing on/off the end caps, and are comfortable (rubberized grips and not too huge for my hands, even as someone who is 5 feet tall). The bars seem fairly secure when caps are on - only rattle a bit when in use, but not enough to be distracting. Probably wouldn't be suitable for changing weights quickly throughout a work out, but it works for my purpose. Seem to be good value for the price for someone who is looking to do light weight training and increase difficulty gradually over time.

I love these weights. After having 2 kids, I was pretty out of shape and decided to get back into working out. I came across these adjustable weights and hey have been life changing! I love that you can make them as light or as heavy as I want depending on the exercise. They are easy to swap out, but it does take a couple minutes to change out all 4 sides. It comes with a little foam cylinder to help hold the discs in place if you use the medium weight. The grip could be better - they can get a little hard to hold if you’re sweaty, but that’s really the only negative thing I have to say. Love them!

These are just what I needed after recovering from major shoulder surgery a year ago. I need to stay active and flexible but don't want to overdo anything since I need my strength back but also need to go slow. These are perfect as I can add weight as needed and if I can't use them for a specific exercise until stronger, I can go back down. easy to do and they are comfortable to hold.

These weights are a good value. I bought them because I wanted to start out with a really light weight and work up to a slightly heavier weight without buying multiple sets. These are perfect. I don't plan on changing the amount of weight during a workout, so that shouldn't be an issue. However, you might want to factor that in before you purchase. It would be time consuming to change out the weight mid-workout. These are sturdy and well made. It's easy to change the weight. All you have to do is unscrew the end cap and remove however many bars you want and screw the cap back on. I recommend removing an even number of bars from each end for stability. Also, make sure you put the foam piece in there when you remove a bar to prevent shaking. All the other weights on Amazon were either sold out or over priced. Maybe due to the virus? These were well priced and arrived quickly. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I love these dumb bells because the weight is adjustable so you end up with multiple weights in one. Also, I love the feel when you touch them. Some dumb bells feel sticky at touch. These ones feel good in your hand.
